नईदिल्ली। दुनिया में कोरोना की पहली वैक्सीन ‘स्पुतनिक वी’ को बड़ी मात्रा में तैयार करने में रूस भारत की मदद चाहता है। रूस ने कहा है कि वह भारत के साथ पार्टनरशिप में इस वैक्सीन का उत्पादन करना चाहता है। ताकि दुनियाभर से आ रही दवा की डिमांड को पूरी की जा सके।
गुरुवार को रशियन डाइरेक्ट इंवेस्टमेंट फंड (आरडीआईएफ) के सीईओ किरिल मित्रेव ने इसकी जानकारी दी। ‘स्पुतनिक वी’ को रूस के गामालेया रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एपिडेमियोलॉजी एंड माइक्रोबॉयोलॉजी ने आरडीआईएफ के साथ मिलकर बनाया है। इस वैक्सीन का फेज-3 या बड़े पैमाने पर क्लिनिकल ट्रायल नहीं किया गया।
भारत पर भरोसा हैः रुस
मित्रेव ने एक ऑनलाइन प्रेस ब्रीफिंग के दौरान कहा कि कई देशों से वैक्सीन की डिमांड आ रही है। इन डिमांड को पूरा करने के लिए बड़ी तादाद में इसका उत्पादन करना होगा। दवा उत्पादन के मामले में भारत आगे है। हमें पूरा भरोसा है कि भारत बड़ी मात्रा में इस दवा को तैयार कर सकता है और हम इसके लिए पार्टनरशिप करना चाहते हैं।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि वैक्सीन उत्पादन के लिए हमने रिसर्च की और एनालिसिस में यह पाया कि भारत, ब्राजील, साउथ कोरिया और क्यूबा जैसे देशों में उत्पादन की अच्छी क्षमता है। इसलिए हम यह चाहते हैं कि इनमें से किसी देश में स्पुतनिक वी तैयार करने में इंटरनेशनल हब बन सके।
पांच से ज्यादा देशों में होगा उत्पादन
मित्रेव ने बताया कि अभी तक 10 लाख से ज्यादा डोज की डिमांड आ चुकी है। भारत 5 करोड़ डोज हर साल तैयार करने की क्षमता रखता है। इसलिए यह पार्टनरशिप काफी कारगर साबित हो सकती है। इसके लिए भारत के ड्रग मैन्युफैक्चरिंग कंपनियों से भी संपर्क किया जाएगा। उन्होंने आगे कहा, ‘‘हम न केवल रूस में, बल्कि यूएई, सऊदी अरब, ब्राजील और भारत में भी क्लिनिकल ट्रायल करने जा रहे हैं। हम पांच से ज्यादा देशों में वैक्सीन का उत्पादन करने की योजना बना रहे हैं। हमारे पास एशिया, लैटिन अमेरिका, इटली और दुनिया के अन्य हिस्सों से ज्यादा मांग है।’’
विवादों में है रूसी वैक्सीन
रूस की वैक्सीन विवादों में भी है। इसे साइंटिफिक जर्नल या डब्ल्यूएचओ से साझा नहीं किया गया। डब्ल्यूएचओ ने कहा, ‘‘रूस ने वैक्सीन बनाने के लिए तय दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन नहीं किया है।’’ रुस पर वैक्सीन से जुड़े सभी जरूरी ट्रायल पूरे न करने के आरोप लगे हैं। केवल 42 दिन में इसके सभी ट्रायल पूरे किए गए। साथ ही इस वैक्सीन के कई साइड इफेक्ट्स की भी बात सामने आई है। दस्तावेजों के मुताबिक, 38 वॉलंटियर्स में 144 तरह के दुष्प्रभाव देखे गए।
