बागपत।अपराधियों की सक्रियता लगातार बानी हुई है। उत्तर प्रदेश के बागपत में सोमवार को लोहा व्यापारी का अपहरण हो गया। व्यापारी आदेश जैन सुबह चार बजे खत्री गढ़ी में अपने घर से भगवान महावीर मार्ग स्थित अपनी दुकान पर गाड़ी से सामान उतरवाने जा रहे थे। उसके काफी देर बाद जब वह वापस नहीं लौटे तो परिजनों के पास फोन आया और व्यापारी को छोड़ने के एवज में एक करोड़ रुपए की फिरौती की गई, जिसके बाद हड़कंप मच गया। सूचना पर पुलिस जांच में जुट गई है। हालांकि अभी आधिकारिक तौर पर कोई कुछ नहीं कह रहा है। पुलिस के आला अधिकारियों का कहना है जांच के बाद ही कुछ कहा जा सकता है।

पुलिस अधीक्षक अभिषेक सिंह के पीआरओ ने बताया कि, आज एक व्यापारी आदेश जैन का अपहरण कर उनके बेटे से एक करोड़ रुपए की फिरौती मांगी गई है। इसकी सूचना पर पुलिस सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाल रही है। पुलिस टीमें लगाई गई हैं।

स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार नगर की खत्री गढ़ी के रहने वाले लोहा व्यापारी 52 वर्षीय आदेश जैन, पुत्र मुल्तान जैन, की माहवारी मार्ग पर लोहे के सामान की सतीश मुल्तान के नाम से दुकान है। सोमवार की सुबह करीब चार बजे आदेश माल की गाड़ी उतरवाने के लिए दुकान पर जा रहे थे। दुकान से कुछ ही दूरी पर बदमाशों ने उनका अपहरण कर लिया।

उसके कुछ देर बाद, परिजनों के पास एक करोड़ रुपए की रंगदारी का फोन आया। फोन आने पर ही परिजनों को अपहरण की जानकारी हुई। सूचना पर पुलिस में हड़कंप मच गया। पुलिस ने बदमाशों की तलाश शुरू कर दी है। इतनी बड़ी वारदात और फिरौती को लेकर सनसनी फ़ैल गई है।
