राजस्थान के धौलपुर जिले में स्थापित ‘अचलेश्वर महादेव’ मंदिर को लेकर विद्वान बताते हैं कि यह शिवलिंग दिन में तीन बार रंग बदलता है। सुबह के समय यह शिवलिंग लाल रंग का दिखाई देता है। वहीं दोपहर में यह केसरिया रंग का हो जाता है और रात को यह श्याम रंग में दिखाई देता है। इसके साथ ही स्थानीय लोग बताते हैं कि शिवलिंग के रंग बदलने की बात को समझने के लिए कई बार मंदिर के पास खुदाई भी की गई लेकिन काफी नीचे तक खोदने के बाद भी शिवलिंग का कोई अंत नहीं मिला। परेशान होकर लोगों ने इसे भोलेनाथ की कृपा मानकर खुदाई बंद कर दी।
इसे समझने के लिए पुरातत्व विभाग के लोगों ने भी काफी कोशिशें कीं। लेकिन जब कोई भी सुराग हाथ नहीं लगा तो सभी ने इसे ईश्वर का ही चमत्कार मान लिया।
