अहमदाबाद। तीव्र झटकों से कांप उठा भरूच इलाका। गुजरात के भरूच इलाके में शुक्रवार को तेज भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए। नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सीस्मोलॉजी के मुताबिक ये भूकंप के झटके दोपहर 3 बजकर 39 मिनट पर महसूस किए गए। रिक्टर पैमाने पर भूकंप की तीव्रता 4.2 मापी गई है। क्षेत्र में भूकंप के झटके महसूस होते ही लोग अपने-अपने घरों से बाहर आ गए। हालांकि इस दौरान किसी प्रकार की जान माल की हानि की कोई खबर नहीं है।

भूकंप का केंद्र भरूच से 36 किलोमीटर दूर नैत्रंग मोटा माल पर बताया जा रहा है। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक शनिवार को भरूच के अलावा सूरत, नर्मदा, अंकलेश्वर, खेड़ा व वडोदरा आदि शहरों में भी भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए। इससे पहले गुजरात के ही कच्छ में भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए थे। 25 अक्टूबर को कच्छ में 3.6 तीव्रता का भूकंप का झटका आया था।
बताया जा रहा है कि देश कुछ अन्य हिस्सों में भी भूकंप के झटकों कि सूचना मिली है।
