जिम कॉर्बेट नेशनल पार्क में पर्यटकों के लिए अब कई नए नियम लागू किए गए हैं। नए नियमों के मुताबिक अब पर्यटकों को ऑनलाइन बुकिंग कराते ही उन्हें जिप्सी का नंबर और उसके ड्राइवर का फोन नंबर दे दिया जाएगा। इससे पर्यटकों को यहां पहुंचने पर जिप्सी बुक कराने की झंझट खत्म हो जाएगी। साथ ही अब यहां एक और सुविधा मिलेगी, जो पूरी तरह से पर्यटकों के हित में है और यहां आने वाले सैलानियों के लिए खुशखबरी भी है। दरअसल, पहले कॉर्बेट नेशनल पार्क में ऑनलाइन बुकिंग कराने के बाद बुकिंग कैंसिल करने पर पैसे रिफंड नहीं मिलते थे लेकिन अब इसकी भी सुविधा शुरू की जाएगी।
उधर, कॉर्बेट टाइगर रिजर्व प्रशासन ने वन्यजीवों, खासतौर पर बाघों के लिए खतरे को देखते हुए ढिकाला जोन में रात्रि विश्राम सुविधा को बंद किए जाने की सिफारिश की है। पार्क के कार्यकारी निदेशक संजीव चतुर्वेदी ने वन विभाग के शीर्ष अधिकारियों को लिखे एक पत्र में यह सिफारिश की है। अगर इस सिफारिश को मान लिया जाता है तो जिम कॉर्बेट पार्क में सैलानी रात में रुकने का लुत्फ नहीं ले पाएंगे।
