मुंबई। मुंबई के जुहू स्थित आरएन कूपर अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों ने अहमदाबाद के एक शख्स का कटा हुआ हाथ जोड़ दिया। यह शख्स अंधेरी रेलवे स्टेशन पर ट्रैक पर गिर गया था। सात घंटे चली सर्जरी के बाद 28 वर्षीय धर्मेंद्र के हाथ को वापस जोड़ दिया गया। करीब एक महीने पहले हुई सर्जरी के बाद अब उसके हाथ में थोड़ा सुधार है।

अस्पताल के प्लास्टिक सर्जन नितिन घाग ने कहा, ‘यह ऑपरेशन रीप्लांटेशन सर्जरी कहलाता है। हड्डी के डॉक्टरों ने पहले हाथ को जोड़ा और उसके बाद मैंने हाथ की तंत्रिकाओं और नसों को जोड़ दिया।’ उन्होंने बताया धर्मेंद्र का हाथ अगले 8-10 महीने में पहले जैसा सामान्य हो जाएगा।

धर्मेंद्र 5 मई को हादसे का शिकार हुआ था और उसका हाथ पूरी तरह अलग हो गया था। उसके साथ सफर कर रहे दोस्तों ने उसके कटे हुए हाथ को प्लास्टिक बैग में रख लिया। स्थानीय पुलिस उसे पास ही स्थित कूपर अस्पताल ले गई, जहां देर रात 1 बजे ऑपरेशन शुरू हुआ और अगली सुबह 8 बजे तक चला।

धर्मेंद्र के तीन बच्चे हैं और वह अपने घर का अकेला कमाने वाला सदस्य है। डॉक्टरों की इसी टीम ने मुंबई के एक निवासी के घुटनों को जोड़ा था, जो बिजली के कारण हुए हादसे में क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए थे।
