नई दिल्ली। सोनी इंडिया ने देश की सबसे बड़ी स्वतंत्र समाचार एजेंसी ‘प्रेस ट्रस्ट ऑफ इंडिया (पीटीआई)’ को विशिष्ट ‘डिजिटल इमेजिंग समाधान’ उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए उसके साथ नई साझेदारी की घोषणा की है। एक संयुक्त बयान में बताया गया है कि सोनी इंडिया ‘पीटीआई’ के समाचार फोटोग्राफरों और वीडियो पत्रकारों के लिए ‘डिजिटल इमेजिंग समाधान’ की विशेष आपूर्तिकर्ता होगी। इसमें बताया गया है कि समाचार एजेंसी के फोटो और वीडियो पत्रकारों कोसोनी इंडिया उत्पाद सेवा समर्थन और प्रशिक्षण भी देगी।
सोनी इंडिया के प्रबंध निदेशक सुनील नय्यर ने इस बारे में कहा, ‘‘पीटीआई देश में खबरों का बहुत ही विश्वसनीय स्रोत है और दुनियाभर में खबरों के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ तस्वीरें और वीडियो देने वाली समाचार एजेंसी को समर्थन देना, उनके साथ जुड़ना हमारे लिए गर्व की बात है।’’ ‘पीटीआई’ के मुख्य कार्यपालक अधिकारी (सीईओ) विजय जोशी ने कहा, ‘‘पीटीआई में, हमारा मानना है कि अच्छी पत्रकारिता देने के लिहाज से प्रौद्योगिकी, बुनियादी स्तंभों में से एक है। हम जानते हैं कि कैमरे की बात आती है तो सोनी नवोन्मेषी प्रौद्योगिकियां तैयार करने में हमेशा आगे रहा है। सोनी के साथ साझेदारी तो होनी ही थी विशेषकर तब, जब हम वीडियो पत्रकारिता में शुरुआत कर रहे हैं।’’ पीटीआई प्रतिदिन 2,000 से अधिक खबरें और 200 से ज्यादा तस्वीरें जारी करती है और 500 से अधिक भारतीय समाचार-पत्र इस एजेंसी से जुड़े हैं।
अब इस एजेंसी के पत्रकार सोनी के आधुनिक इमेजिंग समाधानों की मदद से देशभर के प्रमुख घटनाक्रमों को कैद करेंगे। बयान में कहा गया, ‘‘इस पर अमल शुरू होने के बाद पीटीआई के सभी पत्रकार सोनी के आधुनिक कैमरों और लैंस से लैस होंगे। इस तरह समाचार एजेंसी के सभी पत्रकारों को माध्यम की चिंता किए बिना सुगमता से आदान-प्रदान करने और खबरों को लोगों तक पहुंचाने में मदद मिलेगी।
