भोपाल. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने लोकसभा चुनाव के सातवें और आखिरी चरण में अपनी अंतिम रैली शुक्रवार को मध्यप्रदेश के खरगोन में की। इस दौरान उन्होंने कहा- दिल्ली में कहते हैं चुनाव लंबा हो गया है वे थक गए हैं। मैं कहता हूं कभी आदिवासियों के बीच में आकर बैठो सारी थकान मिट जाएगी। आपको सौ सलाम भाइयों-बहनों। आपने 2019 के चुनाव में नया रंग भर दिया है।

इससे पहले मोदी ने कहा, ‘‘मेरे चुनाव अभियान की शुरुआत उत्तरप्रदेश के मेरठ से हुई थी। अब आखिरी सभा मध्यप्रदेश के खरगोन में हो रही है। ऐतिहासिक नजर से देखें तो मेरठ और खरगोन के बीच एक डोर ऐसी भी है जिस पर अक्सर ध्यान नहीं जाता। ये दोनों ही शहर 1857 के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम से जुड़े हुए हैं। मेरठ में जहां अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ सैनिक विद्रोह हुआ था, वहीं खरगोन की इस धरती पर महान योद्धा और स्वतंत्रता सेनानी भीमा नायक ने आदिवासी आंदोलन का नेतृत्व किया और मां भारती की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति दे दी थी।’’

प्रधानमंत्री ने आगे कहा, ‘‘आप दशकों बाद लगातार दूसरी बार पूर्ण बहुमत की सरकार बनाने वाले हैं। इस बार आप सिर्फ एक वोट नहीं डालने वाले, बल्कि भारत की नींव को मजबूत करने वाले हैं। आपसे अपनी-अपनी नीयत के हिसाब से प्रत्याशी वोट मांगते हैं, लेकिन 2019 का यह चुनाव बाकी चुनावों से अलग है। इस चुनाव का नेतृत्व देश की जनता कर रही है।’’

सातवें चरण में 8 सीटों पर 19 मई को मतदान

सातवें और अंतिम चरण में 19 मई को मध्यप्रदेश की आठ लोकसभा सीटों देवास, उज्जैन, इंदौर, धार, मंदसौर, रतलाम, खरगोन और खंडवा में मतदान होगा। मतगणना 23 मई को होगी।
