श्रीनगर। भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) लगातार वादा कर रही है कि वह सत्ता में आई तो संविधान के अनुच्छेद 370 को समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा। जम्मू-कश्मीर की राजनीतिक पार्टियां नैशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस और पीपल्स डेमोक्रैटिक पार्टी (पीडीपी) लगातार इस कदम का विरोध कर रही हैं। अब नैशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस अध्यक्ष फारूक अब्दुल्ला ने कहा है कि 370 खत्म करके दिखाएं हम भी देखते हैं।

फारूक ने कहा, ‘वे समझते हैं कि बाहर से लाएंगे, बसाएंगे। हमारा नंबर कम कर देंगे। हम क्या सोते रहेंगे? हम इसका मुकाबला करेंगे। हम इसके खिलाफ खड़े हो जाएंगे। 370 कैसे खत्म करोगे? अल्लाह की कसम अल्लाह को यही मंजूर होगा कि हम इनसे आजाद हो जाएंगे। मैं भी देखता हूं फिर कि कौन इनका झंडा खड़ा करने के लिए तैयार होता है! ऐसी चीजें मत करो, जिससे तुम हमारे दिलों को तोड़ने की कोशिश कर रहे हो।गौरतलब है कि अनुच्छेद 370 भारतीय संविधान का वह हिस्सा है, जो जम्मू-कश्मीर को विशेष राज्य का दर्जा देता है। इसके तहत रक्षा क्षेत्र, विदेश मामलों और फाइनैंस और संचार को छोड़कर बाकी सभी कामों के लिए संसद को राज्य सरकार की मंजूरी की जरूरत होती है। बीजेपी लगातार वादा इस बात की पक्षधर रही है कि संविधान की इस धारा को अब समाप्त कर दिया जाना चाहिए।


बीजेपी ने 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए जारी किए गए अपने ‘संकल्प पत्र’ में भी इस बात का जिक्र किया है। घोषणापत्र में कहा गया है कि पार्टी जम्मू-कश्मीर से धारा 35A हटाने की कोशिश करेगी। घोषणा पत्र में धारा 35 A को जम्मू-कश्मीर के गैर स्थाई निवासियों और महिलाओं के लिए भेदभावपूर्ण बताया गया है। इसके साथ ही धारा 370 पर भी दृष्टिकोण को दोहराया गया है।
