मुंबई। समय इंसान को कहाँ से कहाँ ले जाता है कोई नहीं जानता। फिल्म ‘बाहुबली’ में देवसेना का किरदार निभाकर जबरदस्त पॉपुलैरिटी बटोरने वाली अनुष्का शेट्टी परिचय की मोहताज नहीं हैं। इस एक फिल्म ने उन्हें करियर में उन बुलंदियों पर पहुंचा दिया जिसकी बाकी अभिनेत्रियां केवल कल्पना ही कर सकती हैं। 7 नवंबर, 1981 को जन्मी अनुष्का जल्द ही 39 साल की हो जाएंगी।

वैसे, आपको बता दें कि अनुष्का का असली नाम स्वीटी शेट्टी है। फिल्मों में आने से पहले उन्होंने अपना नाम बदल लिया था लेकिन ‘बाहुबली’ में उन्हें डायरेक्ट करने वाले राजामौली आज भी उन्हें स्वीटी ही कहते हैं।

फिल्मों में आने से पहले अनुष्का टीचर थीं। ग्रेजुएशन करने के बाद उन्होंने बतौर टीचर बच्चों को पढ़ाया। वह बतौर टीचर ही अपने करियर में आगे जाना चाहती थीं। इसके बाद वह योग की दुनिया में घुसीं। उन्होंने जाने-माने योग टीचर भरत ठाकुर से योग की ट्रेनिंग ली और योग इंस्ट्रक्टर बन गईं। एक बार एक फिल्म डायरेक्टर ने उन्हें इस दौरान देखा और फिर उन्हें फिल्म ऑफर कर दी।

इसके बाद अनुष्का ने पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा। वह 2005 में फिल्म सुपर में नज़र आईं। फिर वह कई तेलुगू फिल्मों में नज़र आईं लेकिन शुरुआत में उनकी फिल्मों ने बॉक्सऑफिस पर सक्सेस नहीं पाई। 2009 में अनुष्का स्टारर ‘अरुंधति’ में अनुष्का ने अपने करियर का सबसे यूनिक किरदार निभाया था। यह फिल्म बॉक्सऑफिस पर हिट साबित हुई थी और यह साल की सबसे ज्यादा कमाई करने वाली फिल्म बनी थी।

वहीं, 2015 में अनुष्का की फिल्म ‘साइज जीरो’ (2015) की भी खासी चर्चा हुई थी। इस फिल्म में सौंदर्या के किरदार के लिए उन्होंने 20 किलो वजन बढ़ाया था, लेकिन बाहुबली सीरीज़ में अनुष्का द्वारा निभाए गए देवसेना के किरदार ने उनकी किस्मत बदलकर रख दी। इस फिल्म में काम करने के दौरान उनका नाम फिल्म के लीड एक्टर प्रभास से भी जुड़ा। यहां तक कि कई बार खबरें आईं कि दोनों शादी करने वाले हैं लेकिन अब तक यह अफवाहें सच साबित नहीं हुई हैं।

वैसे प्रभास के अलावा, अनुष्का की जोड़ी साउथ सुपरस्टार गोपीचंद के साथ काफी पसंद की जाती है। दोनों की अफेयर की खबरें भी कई बार उड़ चुकी हैं लेकिन इससे प्रभावित हुए बिना दोनों ने फिल्मों में काम करना जारी रखा। अनुष्का को साउथ फिल्म इंडस्ट्री क हाईएस्ट पेड एक्ट्रेसस में से एक माना जाता है। उन्हें एक फिल्म के लिए तकरीबन 4 करोड़ रुपए की फीस मिलती है। रुद्रमादेवी के लिए उन्होंने 5 करोड़ रुपए की फीस मांगी थी। देवसेना के किरदार में अनुष्का को मिली अपार सफलता ने उन्हें एक खास मुकाम पर पहुंचा दिया है।
