मोदी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इंडिया मोबाइल कांग्रेस में कहा, भारत में मोबाइल दरें सबसे कम। हमारा देश सबसे तेजी से बढ़ता ऐप बाजार बन रहा है। प्रधानमंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि भारत मोबाइल विनिर्माण क्षेत्र के रूप में सबसे पसंदीदा जगह बन रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि देश के सभी गांवों को तीन साल में उच्च-गति की फाइबर ऑप्टिक डेटा कनेक्टिविटी से जोड़ जाएगा

मोदी ने कहा कि दूरसंचार क्षेत्र ने दुनिया को यह दिखा दिया है कि तकनीक का जीवन को बेहतर बनाने के लिये किस प्रकार बेहतर इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि डिजिटल तकनीक के बढ़ते इस्तेमाल से जीवन से जुड़े विभिन्न कार्यों में पारदर्शिता को बढ़ावा मिला है।
