कोलकाता। ओडिशो के पुरी तट पर पंहुचा चक्रवाती तूफान फोनी। फोनी तूफान की वजह से ओडिशा 240 से 245 किमी प्रतिघंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चल रही हैं। ओडिशा के बाद इस तूफान के पश्चिम बंगाल की ओर बढ़ने के आसार हैं। पश्चिम बंगाल के कई इलाकों में तेज हवाएं चल रही हैं और बारिश हो रही है। तूफान को देखते हुए पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्‍यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने अपनी सभी रैलियां अगले 48 घंटे के लिए रद्द कर दी है।

ममता बनर्जी ने ट्वीट कर कहा

ममता बनर्जी ने ट्वीट करके बताया, ‘चक्रवाती तूफान फोनी से बर्बादी की आशंका को देखते हुए मैं अगले 48 घंटे तक अपनी चुनावी रैलियां रद्द कर रही हूं। हम पूरी स्थिति पर 24 घंटे निगरानी कर रहे हैं और सभी जरूरी कदम उठा रहे हैं। मैं सभी लोगों से अपील करुंगी कि वे सहयोग करें। सावधान रहें, अपना ध्‍यान रखें और अगले दो दिनों तक सुरक्षित रहें।’

ममता बनर्जी राज्‍य के तटीय इलाके खड़गपुर में अगले दो दिनों तक रहेंगी और स्थिति पर नजर रखेंगी। मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक ओडिशा के पुरी तट पर फोनी तूफान पहुंच गया है और इसके दोपहर तक रहने की उम्मीद है। पुरी में 240 से 245 किमी प्रतिघंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चल रही हैं। ओडिशा तट पर भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश हो रही है। ओडिशा के बाद तूफान फोनी पश्चिम बंगाल तट की ओर बढ़ेगा। इसके बाद इसके पूर्वोत्‍तर भारत की ओर बढ़ने के आसार हैं।

चक्रवाती तूफान की झलक देखने को मिली शुक्रवार को

पूरी में चक्रवाती तूफ़ान की दस्तक से समुद्रतट पर स्थित इलाको में सुबह से ही तेज हवाएं के साथ-साथ बारिश भी हो रही है। केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों ने तूफान से निपटने की पूरी तैयारी की है। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय की विशेष हेल्पलाइन 1938 ऐक्टिव हो गई है और आपात स्थिति में किसी सहायता के लिए इस पर संपर्क किया जा सकता है।
