नई दिल्ली। भारतीय योग को अब भारत सरकार ने एक गेम का दर्जा देकर उसकी अहमियत को जयादा बड़ा दिया है। भारत के लिए आज ऐतिहासिक दिन है। भारत सरकार ने गुरुवार को योग को प्रतियोगी खेल के रूप में मान्यता दे दी है। बाकी खेलों की तरह अब योग की भी राज्यों में योगा स्पोर्ट्स फेडरेशन होगी। इनके कॉम्पिटिटिव गेम्स आयोजित किए जाएंगे।
बता दें कि भारत सरकार योगा स्पोर्ट्स को भी उसी तरह आर्थिक मदद देगी जैसे दूसरे खेलों को दी जा रही है। अन्य खेलों की तरह अब लोग करियर बनाने के लिए योग में पहले से ज्यादा रुचि दिखाएंगे।
खेल राज्य मंत्री किरन रिजिजू ने ट्वीट करके कहा, ‘योग को लोकप्रिय बनाने और योगासन को खेल का रूप देने का पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी का विजन आज पूरा हो गया। खेल मंत्रालय ने आज आधिकारिक तौर पर योगासन को एक प्रतिस्पर्धी खेल के रूप में मान्यता दे दी है। जैसे कि योग भारत का दुनिया के लिए उपहार है, वैसे ही योगासन स्पोर्ट्स वर्ल्ड को गिफ्ट है।’
मंत्री किरन रिजिजू ने आगे कहा कि योगासन को प्रतियोगी खेल के रूप में मान्यता मिलने के फैसले से फिट इंडिया मूवमेंट को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। हर किसी को रोजाना आधा घंटा अपनी फिटनेस के लिए योग जरूर करना चाहिए। भारत सरकार द्वारा योग को प्रतियोगी खेल के रूप में मान्यता देने के बाद खेल मंत्रालय अब खेल प्रतियोगिता में योग प्रतियोगिता को भी आयोजित करेगा। खेलो इंडिया के तहत भी योगा स्पोर्ट का आयोजन होगा। अब योग को बढ़ावा मिलने के साथ-साथ लोगों का रुझान योग की तरफ ज्यादा होगा, जिससे लोगों का स्वास्थ्य भी बेहतर रहेगा और भारत भी।
