मारुती सुजुकी में गयी 3000 नौकरी

नई दिल्ली। मारुति सुजुकी इंडिया लिमिटेड के चेयरमैन आरसी भार्गव ने मंगलवार को कहा कि कंपनी ने 3000 अस्थायी कर्मचारियों का कॉन्ट्रेक्ट रिन्यू नहीं किया है। यह फैसला ऐसे समय में लिया गया है जब ऑटो इंडस्ट्री मांग में भारी गिरावट से गुजर रही है। कंपनी की वार्षिक आम बैठक में भार्गव ने शेयरहोल्डर्स को बताया, ‘कारों की कीमतों में सुरक्षा मानदंडों और भारी टैक्स को जोड़ दिया गया है जो ग्राहकों के खरीदने की क्षमता को प्रभावित कर रहा है।’ बता दें, ऑटो मैन्युफैक्चरर्स संगठन सियाम ने कहा है कि स्लोडाउन के कारण ऑटो कंपनियां अब तक करीब 20 हजार लोगों को नौकरी से निकाल चुकी हैं। वहीं, 13 लाख लोगों की नौकरियों पर तलवार लटकी हुई है।
CNG कारों में 50 फीसदी तक बढ़ोतरी
शनिवार को रॉयटर्स की रिपोर्ट में बताया गया कि जुलाई में 9 महीने से लगातार ऑटो सेल्स में गिरावट देखने को मिल रही है। कई वाहन निर्माता कीमतों को स्थिर बनाए रखने के लिए कर्मचारियों की छंटनी कर रहे हैं या उत्पादन को अस्थायी रूप से रोक रहे हैं। सुजुकी सरकार की इलेक्ट्रिक वीइकल की योजना पर भी काम कर रही है। भार्गव ने आगे बताया कि इस साल मारुति, सीएनजी कारों की संख्या में 50 फीसदी तक बढ़ोतरी कर रहा है।

क्या हैं कारण
जुलाई में पैसेंजर वीइकल्स का उत्पादन करीब 17 पर्सेंट कम रहा। देश में तेजी से उपभोक्ता वस्तुओं की मांग घट रही है, जो आर्थिक मंदी का बड़ा संकेत है। पिछले कुछ महीनों में मांग घटने की रफ्तार तेज हुई है और सबसे अहम बात यह है कि वित्तीय संकट से जूझ रहे एनबीएफसी के पास ऑटो डीलरों और कार खरीदारों को कर्ज देने के लिए फंड नहीं है। इसके अलावा, नोटबंदी का असर, जीएसटी के तहत ऊंची टैक्स दरें, ऊंची बीमा लागत और ओला-ऊबर जैसी ऐप बेस्ड कैब सर्विस में तेजी और कमजोर ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था ऑटो इंडस्ट्री के घटते बिक्री आंकड़ों के पीछे प्रमुख कारण हैं।
क्या होगा असर?
भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था की मैन्युफैक्चरिंग जीडीपी में ऑटो इंडस्ट्री का योगदान करीब 49 फीसदी है और इसमें प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से 3.5 करोड़ लोगों को रोजगार मिला हुआ है। SIAM के डीजी विष्णु माथुर का कहना है, ‘ऑटो इंडस्ट्री में सुस्ती से हर तरफ असर पड़ता है। मैन्युफैक्चरिंग, जॉब्स और सरकार की आमदनी पर नकारात्मक असर पड़ता है।

उन्होंने बताया, ‘कार और मोटरसाइकिल निर्माता पहले ही 15,000 छंटनियां कर चुके हैं। ऑटो कॉम्पोनेंट इंडस्ट्री में पहले ही 10 लाख नौकरियां जा चुकी हैं। इंडस्ट्री में दिखाई दे रहे इस ट्रेंड के कारण इस साल अब तक बीएसई ऑटो इंडेक्स 23 पर्सेंट से ज्यादा नीचे आ चुका है। देश की टॉप कार निर्माता मारुति सुजुकी के शेयर इस साल की शुरुआत से लेकर अब तक 20 पर्सेंट तक लुढ़क चुके हैं।’
