नई दिल्ली। भारत में कोरोना वायरस को रोकने के लिए लगाया गया तीसरा लॉकडाउन अब खत्म होने के नजदीक है। फिलहाल आगे लॉकडाउन लगेगा या नहीं इसपर सस्पेंस बना हुआ है लेकिन लॉकडाउन से देश को फायदा हुआ यह साफ है। हेल्थ मिनिस्ट्री से जुड़े अधिकारी कह चुके हैं अगर लॉकडाउन नहीं लगाया जाता तो केस अबतक 10 लाख तक पहुंच चुके होते। फिलहाल देश में कोरोना के 70 हजार केस सामने आ चुके हैं।

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने बात अप्रैल महीने में ही कही थी। तब देश में कुल 7 हजार केस सामने आए थे। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय में जॉइंट सेक्रटरी लव अग्रवाल ने तब बताया था कि अगर देश में लॉकडाउन लागू नहीं किया गया होता तो कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के मामले तेजी से बढ़ जाते। इस वजह से 15 तब अप्रैल तक देश में 8.2 लाख से ज्यादा केस हो जाते। अगर ऐसा होता तो देश में क्या खौफनाक मंजर होता इसका अंदाजा लगाना मुश्किल नहीं है। ऐसी स्थिति में केस 10 लाख के पार पहुंच चुके होते।

देश में कोरोना के ताजा आंकड़े
केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के ताजा आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, देश में कोरोना के मामलों की संख्या बढ़कर 71 हजार 339 हो गई है। अब तक भारत में कोविड-19 से जान गंवाने वालों की संख्या 2,310 हुई। अबतक 23,033 लोग कोरोना से ठीक होकर घर जा चुके हैं। कुल 71,339 केसों में से 66 प्रतिशत सिर्फ चार राज्यों में हैं। इसमें महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात, तमिलनाडु और दिल्ली शामिल हैं।
