शाहजहांपुर। उत्तर प्रदेश में शाहजहांपुर जिले में कथित तौर पर पुलिस की पिटाई से घायल एक युवक का वीडियो दो दिनों से सोशल मीडिया में वायरल हो रहा है। विडियो में युवक मुचलका पर छोड़ने के बदले पांच हजार रुपये रिश्वत लेने का पुलिस पर आरोप लगा रहा है। सोमवार को इस कथित विडियो की जांच सीओ को सौंपी गई है।
नगर पुलिस अधीक्षक (एसपी सिटी) दिनेश त्रिपाठी ने सोमवार को बताया, ‘दो दिन से सोशल मीडिया में एक विडियो तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है। विडियो में एक घायल युवक अपना नाम पता बताते हुए पुलिस पर कथित रूप से पिटाई करने और मुचलका पर छोड़ने के बदले उससे पांच हजार रुपये रिश्वत लेने का आरोप लगा रहा है।’ उन्होंने बताया, ‘वायरल विडियो का संज्ञान लेकर नगर पुलिस उपाधीक्षक (सीओ) कुलदीप सिंह गुनावत को जांच सौंपी गई है। जांच रिपोर्ट में यदि कोई पुलिसकर्मी दोषी पाया जाता है तो उसके खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी।’
गौरतलब है कि सोशल मीडिया पर जिस युवक का विडियो वायरल हो रहा है, उसका नाम विक्की (25) है, जो काशीराम कॉलोनी का रहने वाला है। विडियो में वह बताता है कि वह कॉलोनी के बाहर मैदान में बैठा था, तभी अजीजगंज चौकी प्रभारी उपनिरीक्षक नासिर अली आए और उसे पकड़ लिए। बाद में पिटाई कर मुचलका पर छोड़ने के बदले उससे पांच हजार रुपये भी ले लिया है।
