नई दिल्ली। लोक सभा चुनाव से पहले राम मंदिर को लेकर रोज नई रोज नई खबरें सामने आ रही है। पिछले सप्ताह ही केंद्र सरकार ने गैर-विवादित जमीन वापस लौटाने के लिए अर्जी दी। अब इस अर्जी के विरोध में सुप्रीम कोर्ट में नई याचिका डाली गई है। याचिकाकर्ता ने लैंड ऐक्विजिशन ऐक्ट की वैधता पर सवाल उठाया। केंद्र सरकार के कदम को भी इस अर्जी में चुनौती दी गई है।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिकाकर्ता का कहना है कि राज्य सूची के विषयों की आड़ में केंद्र सरकार राज्य की भूमि अधिग्रहित नहीं कर सकती। पिछले सप्ताह ही केंद्र सरकार ने 67 एकड़ गैर-विवादित जमीन मूल मालिकों को लौटाने के लिए अर्जी दी थी। सरकार के इस कदम का जहां राम जन्मभूमि न्यास ने स्वागत किया था, वहीं कुछ अन्य संगठनों ने इसका विरोध किया।
इस मामले पर बीजेपी अध्यक्ष अमित शाह ने रविवार को ही एक कार्यक्रम में सभी दलों से इस पर सहयोग की मांग की थी। केंद्र ने कोर्ट में गैर-विवादित जमीन लौटाने की अर्जी में कहा कि वह गैर-विवादित 67 एकड़ जमीन इसके मालिक राम जन्मभूमि न्यास को लौटाना चाहती है। इस जमीन का अधिग्रहण 1993 में कांग्रेस की तत्कालीन नरसिम्हा राव सरकार ने किया था।
1993 में केंद्र सरकार ने अयोध्या अधिग्रहण ऐक्ट के तहत विवादित स्थल और आसपास की जमीन का अधिग्रहण कर लिया था और पहले से जमीन विवाद को लेकर दाखिल तमाम याचिकाओं को खत्म कर दिया था। सरकार के इस ऐक्ट को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी गई थी। तब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस्माइल फारुखी जजमेंट में 1994 में तमाम दावेदारी वाले सूट (अर्जी) को बहाल कर दिया था और जमीन केंद्र सरकार के पास ही रखने को कहा था और निर्देश दिया था कि जिसके फेवर में अदालत का फैसला आता है, जमीन उसे दी जाएगी।
