लाखों फोन को ‘वायरस’ से खतरा!

नई दिल्ली। स्मार्टफोन्स आज हमारी जिंदगी का हिस्सा बन चुके हैं और उनसे जुड़े खतरे भी वक्त के साथ बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। Tencent Blade टीम के सिक्यॉरिटी रिसर्चर्स ने क्वालकॉम (Qualcomm) चिपसेट वाले ऐंड्रॉयड स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट यूजर्स को चेतावनी दी है और इसकी वजह है, खतरनाक QualPwn बग। दरअसल यह एक बग है, जिसकी मदद से हैकर किसी ऐंड्रॉयड डिवाइस के साथ दूर से ही छेड़छाड़ कर सकता है। हैकर बिना यूजर के किसी इंटरैक्शन के ओटीए पर मैलिशस पैकेट्स भेजकर ऐसा कर सकते हैं। ऐसा तब हो सकता है, अगर हैकर और टारगेट दोनों के डिवाइस एक ही वाई-फाई नेटवर्क से कनेक्ट हों।


तीन बग मिलकर QualPwn तैयार करते हैं, जिसके चलते यूजर्स का डेटा रिस्क पर है। रिसर्चर्स ने लिखा, ‘एक खामी के चलते अटैकर WLAN और मॉडेम के साथ ओवर-द-एयर (ओटीए) छेड़छाड़ कर सकते हैं। वहीं, दूसरी गड़बड़ी की वजह से हैकर ऐंड्रॉयड कर्नेल को WLAN चिप की मदद से प्रभावित कर सकता है और इसके बाद पूरी चेन की मदद से डिवाइस के साथ हैकर आसानी से छेड़छाड़ कर सकते हैं।’ तीनों खामियों को क्वालकॉम और गूगल की ऐंड्रॉयड सिक्यॉरिटी टीम को रिपोर्ट कर दिया गया है और इसके लिए पैच उपलब्ध हैं।


पिक्सल डिवाइसेज पर किया टेस्ट
रिसर्चर्स ने कहा कि उनका फोकस Google Pixel 2 और Pixel 3 हैंडसेट्स पर था। टेस्ट के दौरान सामने आया कि क्वालकॉम स्नैपड्रैगन 835 और स्नैपड्रैगन 845 चिप वाले डिवाइसेज इस वायरस की चपेट में आ सकते हैं। क्वालकॉम ने इसपर अपना पक्ष रखते हुए कहा, ‘क्वालकॉम के लिए यूजर्स की प्रिवेसी और सिक्यॉरिटी पहली प्राथमिकता है। क्वालकॉम ने OEM की मदद से इस खामी को दूर कर दिया है और हमारी ओर से सभी यूजर्स को डिवाइस अपडेट करने की सलाह दी जाती है।’ इस सप्ताह के अंत में Tencent Blade Team रिसर्चर्स BlackHat USA 2019 और DEFCON 27 में इस खामी पर चर्चा करेंगे।

इन स्मार्टफोन्स को मिली वॉर्निंग
बता दें, क्वालकॉम इस वक्त दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी चिपमेकर कंपनी है और ढेरों ऐंड्रॉयड स्मार्टफोन्स में इसके चिप इस्तेमाल हो रहे हैं। कंपनी ने अपनी ऑफिशल पेज पर इस बग की जानकारी देते हुए कहा है कि क्वालकॉम स्नैपड्रैगन 855, 845, 730, 710, 675 और अन्य चिपसेट वाले डिवाइस इससे प्रभावित हो सकते हैं। कंपनी की ओर से यूजर्स को सिक्यॉरिटी पैच दिया गया है, ऐसे में फौरन डिवाइस अपडेट करना जरूरी है। जो डिवाइसेज इससे प्रभावित हो सकते हैं, उनमें हर सेगमेंट के ये डिवाइस शामिल हैं-
