रायपुर। छत्‍तीसगढ़ के बीजापुर में रहने वाली वो लड़की बस किसी तरह घर पहुंचना चाहती थी। वहां से घर के लिए निकली और रास्‍ते में चलते-चलते ही वो वहां चली गई जहां से कोई लौटकर नहीं आता। सिर्फ 12 साल की ही तो थी मगर घर का पेट पालने के लिए पड़ोस के तेलंगाना में जाकर खेतों में काम किया करती थी। उस मासूम का नाम जमलो मकदम था। शुरु के 21 दिन के लॉकडाउन को तो उसने किसी तरह बर्दाश्‍त कर लिया। मगर जब लॉकडाउन को 3 मई तक बढ़ा दिया गया तो उसका सब्र जवाब दे गया।

अचानक बेहोश और हुई मौत
काम तो वैसे भी था नहीं, तो उसने घर निकलने की सोची। उसकी मंजिल 150 किलोमीटर दूर थी और कोई आने जाने का साधन उपलब्‍ध होने वाला नहीं। ऐसे में उसने पैदल ही रास्‍ता तय करना शुरू किया। तीन दिन तक वो चलती भी रही। गांव से अभी घंटा भर की दूरी पर था कि जमलो अचानक बेहोश होकर गिर पड़ी और वहीं दम तोड़ दिया। साथी बताते हैं कि उसके पेट में दर्द हो रहा था मगर वो चलती रही।

लाश लेकर गांव पहुंची एम्‍बुलेंस
जब ये तय हो गया कि लॉकडाउन आगे बढ़ेगा, तब जमलो और उसके साथ मिर्च के खेतों में काम करने वाले 11 और लोग पैदल ही निकल पड़े। ये सब हाइवे छोड़ जंगल के रास्‍तों से निकले क्‍योंकि वो छोटा पड़ता। रास्‍ते में जमलो खाना भी ठीक से नहीं खा रही थी। कई बार उल्टियां कीं। जब जमलो का घर बस 14 किलोमीटर दूर रह गया था तब उसके पेट में भयंकर दर्द उठा। देखते ही देखते उसने दम तोड़ दिया। आखिरकार जमलो घर तो पहुंची मगर मुर्दा। एक एम्‍बुलेंस उसकी लाश लेकर गांव आई।

शरीर ने छोड़ा जमलो का साथ
जमलो के पिता का कहना है कि वो दो महीने से तेलंगाना में काम कर रही थी। डॉक्‍टर्स कहते हैं कि जमलो बहुत डिहाइड्रेटेड और कुपोषित थी। शायद उसके शरीर में इलेक्‍ट्रोलाइट का भी इम्‍बैलेंस हो गया हो। मामले की भनक पाकर राज्‍य सरकार ने जमलो के परिवार को एक लाख रुपये मुआवजा देने का ऐलान किया है।
