शारदा चिट फंड घोटाले के अधिकारी राजीव कुमार की गिरफ्तारी पर रोक हटी

नई दिल्ली। चिट फंड घोटाले के मामले में पश्चिम बंगाल के आईपीएस अधिकारी राजीव कुमार की गिरफ्तारी पर लगी रोक सुप्रीम कोर्ट हटा दी है। शुक्रवार को इस मामले में सुनवाई के दौरान शीर्ष अदालत ने कहा कि सीबीआई अपना काम कर सकती है। हालांकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट का यह फैसला 7 बाद लागू होगा। इस दौरान राजीव कुमार अपनी ओर से कानूनी कदम उठाने के लिए स्वतंत्र हैं। यह फैसला पश्चिम बंगाल की सीएम ममता बनर्जी के लिए करारा झटका है, जो इस पूरे मामले को केंद्र की साजिश बता रही हैं।

सुप्रीम कोर्ट का यह फैसला 7 बाद लागू होगा

चीफ जस्टिस रंजन गोगोई की अगुवाई वाली बेंच ने कहा कि उसका आज का आदेश 7 दिन बाद से लागू होगा। तब तक पूर्व पुलिस आयुक्त राजीव कुमार की गिरफ़्तारी नहीं होगी। शीर्ष अदालत ने कहा कि इन 7 दिन की अवधि में कुमार चाहे तो अपने लिए जमानत की अर्जी कोर्ट में दायर कर सकते हैं। यदि उन्हें अग्रिम जमानत नहीं मिलती है तो जांच एजेंसी उन्हें अरेस्ट कर सकती है।

राजीव कुमार पर करोड़ों रुपये के शारदा चिटफंड घोटाले के सबूत मिटाने का आरोप

बता दें कि कोलकाता के पूर्व कमिश्नर राजीव कुमार पर करोड़ों रुपये के शारदा चिटफंड घोटाले के सबूतों को मिटाने का आरोप है। सीबीआई का आरोप है कि ताकतवर नेताओं को बचाने के लिए कुमार घोटाले से जुड़े सबूतों को मिटाने की कोशिश की थी। सीबीआई ने शीर्ष अदालत में याचिका दायर कर राजीव कुमार को गिरफ्तार कर पूछताछ की अनुमति मांगी थी।

मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान शीर्ष अदालत ने चिट फंड स्कैम की जांच की प्रगति को लेकर भी चिंता जताई। कोर्ट ने कहा कि अब तक इस मामले की जिस तरह से जांच आगे बढ़ी है, वह संतोषजनक नहीं है।
