नई दिल्ली। देश कोरोनावायरस संकट के दौर से गुजर रहा है ऐसे में देश के चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ जनरल बिपिन रावत, आर्मी चीफ जनरल मनोज मुकुंद नरावणे, एयर चीफ मार्शल बीरेंद्र सिंह धनोआ, एडमिरल करमबीर सिंह के साथ प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की। कोरोना महामारी के बीच यह पहली प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस है जब सीडीएस के साथ तीनों सेना प्रमुख साथ हों।

CDS जनरल बिपिन रावत ने कहा

  • पूरी दुनिया कोरोना संकट से जूझ रही है। हम सेना की तरफ से कोरोना के खिलाफ लड़ाई लड़ रहे योद्धाओं को सलाम करते हैं।
  • देश की सेना सरकार के हर कॉल के साथ है।
  • 3 मई, रविवार को तीनों सेनाओं की तरफ से विशेष गतिविधियां होंगी। एयर फोर्स श्रीनगर से तिरुअनंतपुरम और डिब्रूगढ़ से कच्छ तक फ्लाइ पास करेगी।
  • कोरोना वॉरियर्स के समर्थन में नेवी समुद्र किनारों को रोशनी से जगमग करेगी।
  • आर्मी अपनी तरफ से देशभर के करीब-करीब सभी जिलों के कुछ कोविड अस्पतालों के साथ माउंटेन बैंड डिस्प्ले करेगी।
  • पुलिस बलों के समर्थन में सशस्र बल 3 मई को पुलिस मेमोरियल पर माल्यार्पण करेंगे।

ध्यान रहे कि सेना देश में कोरोनावायरस के संकट से निपटने के लिए बढ़चढ़कर हिस्सा ले रही है और उसने कई क्वारंटीन सेंटर भी बनाए हैं। सेना कई पड़ोसी देशों में कोरोनावायरस के संक्रमण से निपटने में अपनी टीमें भेजने की योजना बना रही है। कोरोनावायरस के कहर के चलते चीन से लगती वास्तविक नियंत्रण सीमा पर इंडियन आर्मी और चीन की सेना के बीच होने वाली बॉर्डर पर्सनेल मीटिंग भी स्थगित कर दी गई थी।

हर साल 1 मई को चीन की पीपल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी भारतीय सेना को एलएसी पर चीन की तरफ बने मीटिंग पॉइंट्स पर होस्ट करती है। लेकिन इस बार इंडियन आर्मी को निमंत्रण नहीं मिला।

सशस्त्र बल अपनी जिम्मेदारी समझते हैं
सीडीएस बिपिन रावत ने रविवार को कहा था कि कोरोना से अगर हम लड़ना चाहते हैं तो हमें लॉकडाउन का पालन करना होगा। अनुशासन और धैर्य से ही हमें इस वायरस से लड़ने में मदद मिलेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि कोरोना ने बहुत कम संख्या में आर्मी, एयरफोर्स और नेवी को प्रभावित किया है। मुझे विश्वास है कि हम इससे जीतेंगे।
उन्होंने कहा था कि सशस्त्र बलों के रूप में हम कोरोना वायरस के खिलाफ लड़ाई में अपनी जिम्मेदारी समझते हैं। हमें यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि हम सुरक्षित रहें, क्योंकि हमारे सैनिक, नाविक और एयरफोर्स इस वायरस से प्रभावित होते हैं, तो हम अपने लोगों की सुरक्षा कैसे करेंगे। कोरोना ने बहुत कम संख्या में तीनों सेनाओं को प्रभावित किया है। अनुशासन और धैर्य से हम इस वायरस को फैलने से रोक सकते हैं।’

नौसेना में 26 और आर्मी में 8 जवान संक्रमित
19 अप्रैल को नौसेना में संक्रमण के 20 मामले सामने आए थे। मुंबई में आईएनएस आंग्रे पर तैनात 26 नाविक कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाए गए थे। इन सभी को मुंबई के कोलाबा में स्थित नौसेना अस्पताल आईएनएचएस अश्विनी में भर्ती कराया गया है। नेवी का कहना है कि शिप्स और सबमरीन पर कोई संक्रमण का केस सामने नहीं आया है और सभी मिशन और ऑपरेशन पहले की तरह जारी हैं। आर्मी चीफ जनरल एमएम नरवणे ने 17 अप्रैल को बताया था कि सेना में कोरोना संक्रमण के 8 मामले सामने आए हैं। इनमें दो डॉक्टर और एक नर्स भी शामिल है।
