नई दिल्ली। देश की पहली पूर्णकालिक महिला वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण 5 जुलाई को बजट पेश करेंगी। इसके लिए बजट दस्तावेजों का प्रकाशन आज से शुरू हो गया। प्रकाशन प्रारंभ होने से पहले हर वर्ष की तरह इस वर्ष भी वित्त मंत्रालय में हलवा वितरण समारोह का आयोजन हुआ। वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण और वित्त राज्य मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने इसमें शामिल हुए। इसके साथ ही करीब 100 कर्मियों का बजट पेश होने तक नॉर्थ ब्लॉक से निकलना बंद हो जाएगा।

हलवा रस्म क्या है?
हर साल बजट को अंतिम रूप देने से कुछ दिन पहले नॉर्थ ब्लॉक में वित्त मंत्रालय के ऑफिस में एक बड़ी कढ़ाई में हलवा बनाया जाता है। वित्त मंत्री खुद इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लेते हैं। हलवा बनाने की रस्म काफी पहले से ही चली आ रही है। इसके पीछे कारण यही है कि हलवे को काफी शुभ माना जाता है और शुभ काम की शुरुआत भी मीठे से की जाती है।
