नई दिल्ली। 0.30 कैरट से कम वाले डायमंड्स को खरीदने का सुनहरा मौका है। इस तरह के हीरों की कीमतें 1 जून, 2018 से अब तक करीब 15 फीसदी तक कम हुई हैं। इंडस्ट्री के सूत्रों के मुताबिक, पिछले 5 सालों में पॉलिश्ड डायमंड की कीमतों में हुई यह सबसे बड़ी गिरावट है।

अंगूठियां व पेन्डेंट की कीमतों में भी आई भरी गिरावट

रफ डायमंड की कीमतों में तेजी, डायमंड सेक्टर के लिए बैंक फाइनैंस कम होने, लैब में बनी डायमंड जूलरी की मांग में तेजी होने व यूएस-चीन ट्रेड वॉर से बाजारों में मांग कम होने से सूरत और मुंबई के डायमंड बाजार खासे दबाव में हैं क्योंकि प्रॉफिट मार्जिन कम हो गया है।

सूरत डायमंड असोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष बाबू गुजराती ने कहा, ‘सूरत में डायमंड यूनिट्स अपनी आधी क्षमता के साथ काम कर रही हैं क्योंकि वे लोग इन्वेन्ट्री को कम करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। निर्माता ऊंची कीमत वाले रफ डायमंड को नहीं ले रहे हैं क्योंकि इनके चलते पॉलिश्ड जेम्स के उत्पादन से कोई फायदा नहीं मिल रहा। +11 कैटिगरी वाले सामानों में हाई इन्वेन्टरी के चलते 7 से 10 प्रतिशत की कमी आई है।’
