नई दिल्ली। सबसे बड़ा सर्च इंजन गूगल नए साल में यूजर्स चार्ज लेने की तैयारी कर चूका है। गूगल 2021 के शुरू होते ही एक बड़ा झटका देने के लिए तैयार है। कई साल से गूगल फोटोज ऐसे लोगों को सहारा रहा है जो अपने फोन में स्टोरेज की कमी की समस्या से परेशान रहते हैं। ऐसे लोगों को गूगल फोटोज फ्री में सेव करने की सुविधा देता है। लेकिन ये स्थितियां जून 2021 से बदलने जा रही हैं। यूज़र्स को भेजे एक ऑफिशियल मेल में कहा गया है कि उसके फोटो ऐप में अपलोड किए जाने वाले किसी भी फोटो को अब 15GB की उस स्टोरेज सीमा में शामिल किया जाएगा। जिसको कोई भी यूजर गूगल अकाउंट खोलने पर हासिल करता है।
इसी तरह यह पॉलिसी गूगल की दूसरी सर्विसेज जैसे GMail और गूगल ड्राइव में पहले से ही लागू हैं। हालांकि सब्सक्राइबर्स के लिए कुछ अच्छी खबर है। गूगल ने कहा है कि गूगल फोटोज में फोटो शेयर करने की अनलिमिटेड सुविधा एक जून 2020 के पहले सेव किए गए फोटोज पर लागू रहेगी। यानी कि 1 जून 2021 के बाद से 15GB फ्री स्पेस की सुविधा लागू होगी। इससे ज्यादा यानी 15 GB स्टोरेज बढ़ने पर अब सब्सक्राइबर्स को पैसे देने होंगे।
बता दें कि गूगल फोटो पर हर हफ्ते करीब 28 अरब नए फोटो अपलोड किए जाते हैं। गूगल का ये भी मानना है कि यह नई पॉलिसी लागू होने के 3 साल के भीतर तक उसके लगभग 80 फीसदी फोटो यूजर 15 GB की निर्धारित सीमा को पार नहीं करेंगे। लेकिन 1 जून 2021 के बाद यूजर को इस बात का तो खयाल रखना ही होगा कि वो अपनी बेहतर और जरूरी फोटो ही सेव करें। अब लोग गूगल के अलावा कहाँ जायेंगे। उनकी मजबूरी है।
