गौरतलब है कि ताजनगरी में 29.4 किमी लंबे दो कॉरिडोर का मेट्रो नेटवर्क बनना है, जिसमें 27 स्टेशन होंगे। ताज ईस्ट गेट से सिकंदरा के बीच 14 किमी लंबे पहले कॉरिडोर का निर्माण कार्य तेजी से चल रहा है। इस कॉरिडोर में 13 स्टेशनों का निर्माण होगा। जिसमें 6 एलीवेटिड जबकि 7 भूमिगत स्टेशन होंगे। इस कॉरिडोर के लिए पीएसी परिसर में डिपो का निर्माण किया जा रहा है। इसके साथ ही आगरा कैंट से कालिंदी विहार के बीच लगभग 16 कि.मी. लंबे दूसरे कॉरिडोर का निर्माण किया जाएगा, जिसमें 14 ऐलीवेटेड स्टेशन होंगे।
