नई दिल्ली। देश में लोग परिवहन के स्रोतों में अब हवाई यात्रा को ज्यादा तवज्जो दे रहे हैं। हवाई यात्रा अब बस और रेल यात्रा पर भारी पड़ने लगी है। खासकर लंबी दूरी के लिए लोग अब रेल या बस की जगह हवाई यात्रा का विकल्प चुन रहे हैं। देश में तो हवाई यात्रियों की संख्या बढ़ ही रही है, विदेश जाने वाले यात्रियों की संख्या में भी भारी इजाफा देखने को मिल रहा है। जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि 71,000 हजार भारतीय रोजाना विदेश के लिए उड़ान भरते हैं।

साल 2015-18 के बीच घरेलू विमान यात्रियों की संख्या में 40 करोड़ का इजाफा दर्ज किया गया। साल 2015 में घरेलू विमान यात्रियों का आंकड़ा 1.4 अरब था, जो 2018 में बढ़कर 1.8 अरब पर पहुंच गया। वहीं, विदेश जाने वाले भारतीय यात्रियों की संख्या में भी जोरदार वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है। साल 2015-18 के बीच विदेश यात्रा करने वाले भारतीय की संख्या में 60 लाख की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है। 2015 में दो करोड़ भारतीयों ने विदेश यात्रा की, जबकि 2018 में यह आंकड़ा बढ़कर 2.6 करोड़ हो गया। सबसे दिलचस्प बात यह है कि 71,000 भारतीय रोजाना विदेश यात्रा कर रहे हैं।

रेल की जगह हवाई यात्रा को तवज्जो

यात्राओं के दौरान होने वाला लगभग आधा खर्च शॉपिंग के खाते में जाता है, जबकि महज पांचवां हिस्सा ही मनोरंजन के साधनों पर खर्च होता है।घरेलू यात्री अपने परिजनों और मित्रों के घर रुककर खाने पर होने वाले खर्च को बचा लेते हैं, जबकि अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रा के दौरान खाने में होने वाला खर्च सालाना 10% की दर से बढ़ रहा है।

जीडीपी में ट्रैवल ऐंड टूरिज्म की हिस्सेदारी 10.5%
साल 2018 में यात्रा (ट्रांसपोर्ट, लॉजिंग और कंजम्प्शन) पर 6.58 लाख करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए गए।जीडीपी में यात्रा और पर्यटन सातवां सबसे बड़ा हिस्सेदार है और साल 2018 में यह 9.4% रहा, जबकि साल 2013 में यह आंकड़ा 6.7 फीसदी था। 2018 में जीडीपी में ट्रैवल ऐंड टूरिज्म की हिस्सेदारी ब्रिटेन जैसे विकसित देशों के बराबर है। ब्रिटेन की जीडीपी में ट्रैवल ऐंड टूरिज्म की हिस्सेदारी 10.5% है।भारतीय यात्रा एवं पर्यटन बाजार के साल 2021 में 13% बढ़कर लगभग 9.52 लाख करोड़ रुपये (136 अरब डॉलर) का हो जाने की उम्मीद है।
