भाजपा की राज्यसभा सांसद सरोज पांडे ने यहां एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में कहा कि, बिहार में कांग्रेस हो या राजद वो महिलाओं पर होते अत्याचार को शह देते हैं। उन्होंने कमलनाथ के बयान पर कहा, आज आपके बीच में बहुत पीड़ा के साथ उपस्थित हुई कि जो बहन बिलख रही हैं और ये चुनाव लड़ रही हैं और जो अभद्र टिप्पणी मध्यप्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री सार्वजनिक सभा में करते हैं। उन्हें इसका तनिक अफसोस नहीं।
उन्होंने कहा कि, अभी नवरात्रि का पर्व चल रहा है, शक्ति और भक्ति का पर्व, उसमें महिला के साथ ऐसा व्यवहार किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बिना किसी के नाम लिए कहा कि, कांग्रेस की अध्यक्ष महिला हैं, मगर वे भी कुछ नहीं कहती हैं। ऐसे मसले पर राजनीति नहीं होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि, बिहार में कांग्रेस हो या राजद वे महिलाओं पर होते अत्याचार को शह देते हैं। नाबालिग बच्ची के साथ दुराचार करने वाले आरोपी ब्रजेश पांडे को कांग्रेस ने प्रत्याशी बनाया है। राजद ने नाबालिग के साथ दुष्कर्म करने वाले अरुण यादव की पत्नी और राजवल्लभ की पत्नी को टिकट दिया है।
उन्होंने सवालिया लहजे में कहा कि राजद और कांग्रेस की नेता जो महिलाएं हैं, इस पर क्या कहेंगी। इधर, कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता राजेश राठौर की मानें तो, “वह चाहे किसी भी पार्टी का नेता अगर महिलाओं के खिलाफ किसी भी तरह की टिप्पणी करता है तो यह गलत है। भाजपा को अपने गिरेबां में झांकना चाहिए। नरेंद्र मोदी की सरकार में महिलाओं पर सबसे ज्यादा अत्याचार बढ़ा है, जिसमें उत्तर प्रदेश में योगी की सरकार में तो हथरस की घटना कलंक है। कांग्रेस कभी भी महिलाओं का अपपमान बर्दाश्त नहीं कर सकती।
