नई दिल्ली। Bugatti की शानदार सुपर स्पोर्ट्स कार Chiron ने रफ्तार का नया वर्ल्ड रेकॉर्ड बनाया है। मॉडिफाइड Bugatti Chiron ने 490.48 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की रफ्तार से दौड़कर दुनिया की सबसे तेज कार का रेकॉर्ड अपने नाम किया है। साथ ही यह दुनिया की पहली हाइपरकार बन गई है, जिसने 480 किलोमीटर (300 माइल) प्रति घंटा से भी तेज रफ्तार भरी है। बुगाटी चिरोन ने यह कारनामा जर्मनी में किया है।

बुगाती चिरोन के स्टैंडर्ड मॉडल ने नहीं, बल्कि मॉडिफाइड मॉडल ने यह रेकॉर्ड बनाया है। इसके लिए कार में कई बदलाव किए गए हैं। चिरोन का यह स्पेशल मॉडल स्टैंडर्ड मॉडल से 25 cm लंबा है। इसके पीछे की तरफ एयरोडायनैमिक्स को बेहतर करने के लिए क्रॉस सेक्शन को कम किया गया है। मॉडिफाइड चिरोन में नया एग्जॉस्ट सेटअप दिया गया है। इनके अलावा कार में कई और बदलाव हुए हैं, ताकि इसकी रफ्तार बढ़े सके।

रेकॉर्ड बनाने वाली इस स्पेशल बुगाटी चिरोन में 8.0-लीटर, क्वॉड-टर्बो, W16 इंजन दिया गया है। यह इंजन 1,578 bhp का पावर जनरेट करता है। स्टैंडर्ड चिरोन के मुकाबले इसका पावर करीब 100 bhp ज्यादा है। हालांकि, इसमें दिया गया ऑल-वील ड्राइव सिस्टम और 7-स्पीड ड्यूल क्लच ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन स्टैंडर्ड मॉडल वाले ही हैं।
