नई दिल्ली। जेएनयू में 5 जनवरी को हुई हिंसा के विरोध में आज मंडी हाउस से एचआरडी मंत्रालय तक मार्च की जाएगी। छात्र पैदल मार्च करने पर अड़े हुए थे लेकिन पुलिस ने उन्हें बसों से प्रदर्शन के लिए मंडी हाउस जाने को कहा है। छात्र बसों में बैठकर मंडी हाउस पहुंच रहे हैं।

मंडी हाउस पर प्रदर्शनों के चलते पूरे लुटियन जोन का ट्रैफिक बाधित रहेगा। पुलिस की मानें तो मंडी हाउस से मानव संसाधन मंत्रालय तक जाने के लिए फिरोज शाह रोड लिया जाएगा, जिसके कारण कनॉट प्लेस तक जाने वाले लगभग रास्ते बंद रहेंगे। मंडी हाउस में धारा 144 लागू कर दी गई है। लेफ्ट के नेता वृंदा करात और सीताराम येचुरी मंडी हाउस पहुंच गए हैं।

सूत्रों की मानें तो रविवार को जेएनयू में हुई हिंसा के बाद से लेफ्ट से जुड़े छात्र संगठनों ने जेएनयू वीसी एम जगदीशन कुमार को पद से हटाने की मांग की है, तो वहीं पुलिस पर कथित गुंडों के साथ मिलकर जेएनयू में हंगामा करवाने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने बताया कि जेएनयू में छात्रों के रजिस्ट्रेशन को लेकर बवाल हुआ था, जो पिछले शुक्रवार से चल रहा है। पूरे कैंपस में पढाई लिखाई बंद है और कैंपस लेफ्ट-राइट में बंटकर रह गया है।
