आगरा। विश्व वानिकी दिवस 21 मार्च के अवसर पर फतेहाबाद वन विभाग रेंज द्वारा कस्तूरबा गांधी आवासीय विद्यालय में गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान बालिकाओं को वन्यजीवों के संरक्षण की जानकारी दी गई। कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व वन क्षेत्राधिकारी सिकंदर सिंह ने किया।

विश्व वानिकी दिवस पर फतेहाबाद के कस्तूरबा गांधी आवासीय बालिका विद्यालय में आयोजित गोष्ठी में क्षेत्रीय वन अधिकारी सिकंदर सिंह द्वारा छात्रों को वनों के महत्व, वनजीवों के संरक्षण के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। इस दौरान उन्होंने कहा कि लगातार हो रहे वनों के कटाव से पारिस्थितिक संतुलन बिगड़ रहा है, जो आगे आने वाले समय के लिए बहुत बड़ा खतरा बन सकता है। इसके लिए हमें लगातार पेड़ों का संरक्षण करना चाहिए। इस दौरान बड़ी संख्या में छात्राएं, स्कूल का स्टाफ एवं वन विभाग के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
