सीबीएसई ने 10वीं और 12वीं की शेष परीक्षाएं रद्द करने का फैसला किया है।सीबीएसई बोर्ड ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में इस संबंध में सूचना दे दी है।

CBSE board 10th 12th Exam cancelled: केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) ने इस साल के लिए 1 जुलाई से 15 जुलाई तक होने वाली कक्षा 10वीं और 12वीं की शेष परीक्षाएं रद्द कर दी हैं। आज सुप्रीम कोर्ट में हुई सुनवाई के दौरान बोर्ड ने अपने इस फैसले की जानकारी दी है। साथ ही ये भी बताया है कि अब किस आधार पर स्टूडेंट्स को अंक दिए जाएंगे और रिजल्ट तैयार किए जाएंगे।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जस्टिस एएम खानविलकर की अध्यक्षता वाली बेंच के समक्ष इस मामले पर सुनवाई हुई। सीबीएसई और केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय की ओर से सॉलिसिटर जेनरल तुषार मेहता ने पक्ष रखा। वहीं, दिल्ली, ओडिशा और महाराष्ट्र सरकार की ओर से परीक्षा न कराए जाने की याचिका पर वकील ऋषि मल्होत्रा ने दलीलें पेश कीं।
मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय के साथ बैठक में बोर्ड के अधिकारियों ने कहा था कि 10वीं कक्षा का इंटरनल असेसमेंट से रिजल्ट तैयार करना आसान है। लेकिन 12वीं कक्षा के मामले में इस तरह रिजल्ट तैयार करने में दिक्कत आएगी। क्योंकि 12वीं कक्षा के आधार पर आईआईटी, मेडिकल समेत कई अन्य उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में दाखिला होता है। स्कूल के इंटरनल असेसमेंट में कई होनहार छात्र भी पीछे हो सकते हैं।
इसलिए बोर्ड ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट को बताया है कि कक्षा 12वीं के स्टूडेंट्स को दो विकल्प दिए जाएंगे। उन्हें स्कूल में हुए पिछली तीन परीक्षाओं में उनके परफॉर्मेंस के आधार पर अंक दिए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा उन्हें कुछ महीने बाद होने वाली इंप्रूवमेंट परीक्षा में शामिल होने का भी विकल्प दिया जाएगा। स्टूडेंट्स चाहें तो इंप्रूवमेंट एग्जाम देकर अपना स्कोर बेहतर कर सकेंगे।
फरवरी-मार्च में चल रही परीक्षाएं कोरोना महामारी के कारण स्थगित कर दी गई थीं। फिर सीबीएसई ने 1 जुलाई से लेकर 15 जुलाई तक परीक्षाएं कराए जाने की बात कही थी। इसके लिए विस्तृत डेटशीट भी जारी कर दी गई थी। लेकिन कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिकाएं दायर की गईं कि परीक्षाएं रद्द की जाएं। कई राज्य सरकारें भी इस पक्ष में थीं।
