नई दिल्ली। कैंब्रिज विश्वविद्यालय में व्याख्यान देने के दौरान राहुल की ओर से की गईं टिप्पणियों में निहित गूढ़ बातों को भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) नहीं समझ सकी। कांग्रेस ने रविवार को कहा कि कि राहुल ने उत्पादन व्यवस्था को गति प्रदान करने के लिए सरकार नियंत्रित चीन की कॉर्पोरेशन प्रणाली और भारत जैसे लोकतांत्रिक राष्ट्रों की तत्काल जरूरत के बीच के अहम अंतर को परिभाषित किया था। विपक्षी दल की यह प्रतिक्रिया भाजपा की ओर से राहुल पर लगाए गए आरोप के बाद आई। भाजपा ने राहुल पर आरोप लगाया कि उन्होंने विदेशी सरजमीं पर चीन की तारीफ करके भारत की छवि को धूमिल किया।

विश्वविद्यालय में गांधी की टिप्पणी का एक वीडियो टैग करते हुए कांग्रेस महासचिव जयराम रमेश ने ट्वीट किया, ‘‘राहुल गांधी ने अपने कैंब्रिज व्याख्यान में चीन की सरकार नियंत्रित कॉर्पोरेशन प्रणाली और उत्पादन प्रणालियों को दुरुस्त करने के लिए भारत जैसे लोकतांत्रिक देशों की तात्कालिक आवश्यकता के बीच के अहम अंतर को स्पष्ट रूप से परिभाषित किया। लेकिन इसकी गूढ़ बातों को भाजपा नहीं समझ सकी।’’ चीन से संबंधों के बारे में मोदी का एक वीडियो टैग करते हुए रमेश ने कहा, ‘‘जबकि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी चीनियों के साथ अपनी घनिष्ठ दोस्ती का बखान करते नहीं अघाते।’’ गांधी ने कैंब्रिज विश्वविद्यालय में अपनी टिप्प्णी में कहा था कि भारतीय लोकतंत्र पर हमले हो रहे हैं और उनके समेत कईराजनेताओं की निगरानी की जा रही है।

उनकी इस टिप्पणी से कांग्रेस और भाजपा में तनातनी हो गई। भाजपा ने राहुल पर भारत को बदनाम करने का अरोप लगाते हुए पूछा था कि क्या गांधी देश को नीचा दिखाने के लिए एक एजेंसी के वेतनभोगी एजेंट की तरह काम कर रहे थे। कांग्रेस ने पलटवार करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा विदेशों में आंतरिक राजनीति के मुद्दों को उठाने के कई उदाहरणों का हवाला दिया और कहा कि सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी के बयान या तो अज्ञानता की उपज हैं या फिर यह ‘पूरी तरह सुनियोजित राजनीति’ है, लेकिन दोनों का ही लोकतंत्र में कोई स्थान नहीं है। अमेरिका और भारत जैसे लोकतांत्रिक देशों में हाल के सालों में विनिर्माण में आई गिरावट पर उत्पादन के चीन में स्थानांतरित होने का का जिक्र करते हुए गांधी ने कहा था कि इस स्थानांतरण ने भारी असमानता और आक्रोश पैदा किया है जिस पर तुरंत ध्यान देने और वार्ता करने की जरूरत है।
