चक्रवाती तूफान ‘फैनी’ ने लिया भयानक रूप, अलर्ट जारी

नई दिल्ली। बंगाल की खाड़ी में उठा चक्रवाती तूफान ‘फैनी’ रौद्र रूप ले चुका है। इसके शुक्रवार दोपहर तक ओडिशा के तट पर गोपालपुर और चांदबली के बीच से गुजरने की आशंका जताई जा रही है। उस समय इसकी अधिकतम रफ्तार 175 से 185 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे के आसपास होगी जो 205 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे तक पहुंच सकती है। इस बीच ओडिशा में अलर्ट जारी करते हुए स्कूल-कॉलेजों की 2 मई तक छुट्टी कर दी गई है। भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने ओडिशा के लिए ‘येलो वॉर्निंग’ जारी की है।

मौसम विभाग ने जारी किया अलर्ट
मौसम विभाग ने इन राज्यों के तटीय इलाके को खाली करने का सुझाव दिया है। मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने राज्य में चुनाव की तारीख आगे बढ़ाने की मांग की है। 2मई से 4मई के बीच मौसम विभाग की ओर से मछुआरों को गहरे समुद्र में न जाने को कहा गया है, क्योंकी इस समय समुद्र के बहुत अधिक खतरनाक होने की आशंका है।

केंद्र सरकार ने जारी की मदद राशि
चक्रवात के मद्देनजर केंद्र ने एडवांस में चार राज्यों (आंध्र प्रदेश, ओडिशा, तमिलनाडु और पश्चिम बंगाल) के लिए 1,086 करोड़ रुपयों की राशि जारी कर दी है। ऐसा इसलिए किया गया है ताकि तूफान से बचने के ए‍हतियाती कदम उठाए जा सकें और जरूरत पड़ने पर राहत कार्यों में कोई बाधा न आए।

राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल तैनात
‘फैनी’ के भारतीय पूर्वी तट की ओर बढ़ने पर नौसेना और तटरक्षक बल के जहाज तथा हेलीकाप्टर, राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल की राहत टीमों को महत्वपूर्ण स्थानों पर तैनात किया गया है जबकि सेना और वायु सेना की टुकड़ियों को तैयार रखा गया है।

आपात स्थितियों से निपटने के लिए देश की शीर्ष संस्था ‘राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन समिति’ ने मंगलवार को दूसरी बार बैठक की और चक्रवाती तूफान से पैदा होने वाली स्थिति से निपटने के लिए राज्यों और केंद्र सरकार के संबंधित विभागों की तैयारी की समीक्षा की। एनडीआरएफ ने आंध्र प्रदेश में 41 टीम, ओडिशा में 28 और पश्चिम बंगाल में पांच टीम तैनात की है।
