आस्ट्रेलिया की तरफ से ओपनर डार्सी शाॅर्ट(34), आरोन फिंच(35) व मोईसिस हेनरिक्स(30) ने छोटी पारियां खेलीं, लेकिन वह टीम को जीत नहीं दिला सकीं। स्टीव स्मिथ ने 12, ग्लेन मैक्सवेल ने 2 जबकि मैथ्यू वेड ने 7 रन बनाए। सीन एबट ने नाबाद 12 व मिचेल स्टार्क ने 1 रन बनाया।
