अमेठी। कांग्रेस अध्य्क्ष राहुल गांधी के नामांकन जुलूस में सोनिया गांधी को छोड़कर समूचा गांधी परिवार अमेठी की सड़कों पर रोड शो करने उतर आया । नामांकन से ठीक पहले आयोजित करीब तीन किलोमीटर लंबा रोड शो करके राहुल गांधी ने अपनी ताकत का अहसास कराया। रोड शो के दौरान राहुल गांधी के साथ चुनावी रथ पर उनकी बहन प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा, जीजा रॉबर्ट वाड्रा और उनके दोनों बच्चे रिहान और मियारा भी मौजूद रहे। राहुल गांधी के नामांकन करने के दौरान उनकी मां सोनिया गांधी भी मौजूद रहीं।
तीन किमी लंबे इस रोड शो के दौरान कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने फूल और मालाओं के साथ राहुल गांधी का जोरदार स्वागत किया। राहुल गांधी, प्रियंका और रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने हाथ हिलाकर कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं का अभिवादन व्यक्त किया । रोड शो के रास्ते को कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने कांग्रेस झंडों और फूल-मालाओं से पूरा पाट दिया था। रोड शो के दौरान अमेठी की सड़क पर त्यौहार जैसा माहौल नजर आया । रोड शो के बाद राहुल गांधी ने कलेक्ट्रट कार्यालय में अपना पर्चा दाखिल किया। इस दौरान सोनिया गांधी, प्रियंका गांधी, रॉबर्ट वाड्रा भी मौजूद रहे। अमेठी में छह मई को वोट डाले जाएंगे।

बता दें कि राहुल गांधी केरल के वायनाड से भी चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं। अमेठी में उनका मुकाबला बीजेपी नेता और केंद्रीय मंत्री स्‍मृति इरानी से होगा। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी पहली बार दो लोकसभा सीटों से चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं। इससे पहले सोनिया और प्रियंका गांधी राहुल के नामांकन में शामिल होने के लिए मंगलवार रात ही अमेठी पहुंच गई थीं। रोड शो के दौरान राहुल गांधी मुंशीगंज-दरपीपुर-के रास्ते होते हुए गौरीगंज नगर तक जाएंगे।
राजनीतिक विश्‍लेषकों के मुताबिक अमेठी में स्‍मृति इरानी से मिल रही कड़ी टक्‍कर को देखते हुए नामांकन भरने से ठीक पहले रोड शो के जरिए राहुल गांधी ने अपने समर्थकों को लुभाने की कोशिश की। राहुल के रोड शो में कई दिग्‍गज नेता शामिल हैं। राहुल गांधी अमेठी से लगातार 3 बार सांसद चुने गए हैं। 2004 में उन्होंने पहली बार यहां से जीत हासिल की थी। फिर 2009 में और 2014 में भी वह इस सीट से संसद पहुंचे।
अमेठी से ही राहुल के पिता और चाचा भी रहे थे सांसद
2014 में बीजेपी ने राहुल के खिलाफ स्मृति इरानी को टिकट दिया था। स्मृति के लिए चुनाव प्रचार करने खुद पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी भी अमेठी गए थे। इस बार भी राहुल को स्मृति इरानी चुनौती दे रही है । अमेठी से अपना रिश्ता दिल से होने की बात राहुल गांधी कई बार कह चुके हैं। यह सीट एक तरह से उनके परिवार की सीट रही है। इसी सीट से उनके चाचा संजय गांधी भी चुनाव जीतकर संसद पहुंचे थे। संजय की मौत के बाद 1981 में इस सीट पर चुनाव हुए थे। तब राजीव गांधी यहां से चुनकर संसद गए थे । राहुल और प्रियंका खुद कई बार चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान अमेठी से खास रिश्ता होने की बात करते रहे हैं।
