लखनऊ। उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ के उस होटल के मालिकों में से एक पवन अग्रवाल की अग्रिम जमानत अर्जी बुधवार को यहां की एक स्थानीय अदालत ने खारिज कर दी जिसमें इस महीने लगी आम में चार व्यक्तियों की मौत हो गई थी। अदालत ने मामले की जांच पर टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि जांच अधिकारी संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारियों की जिम्मेदारी तय करने में विफल रहे जिन्होंने अपनी आंखें बंद रखीं और आरोपियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई नहीं की।
सुनवाई के दौरान अभियोजन पक्ष की ओर से यह दलील दी गई आरोपी नियमों की धज्जियां उड़ाकर और अग्नि सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए उचित प्रबंध किए बिना होटल का संचालन कर रहा था, जिससे यह स्पष्ट होता है कि आरोपी अच्छी तरह से जानता था कि उसके कृत्य से कुछ अनहोनी हो सकती है। अभियोजन पक्ष की ओर से यह भी कहा गया कि हजरतगंज के सब-इंस्पेक्टर दयाशंकर द्विवेदी ने 5 सितंबर 2022 को मामले की रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई थी, जिसमें कहा गया था कि होटल लेवाना सुइट में सुबह 7 बजे आग लग गई जिसके बाद पुलिसकर्मियों और दमकल कर्मियों की एक टीम को इसे काबू में करने में घंटों लग गए। यह भी कहा गया कि इस घटना में चार लोगों की झुलसने और दम घुटने से मौत हो गई, जबकि सात लोग घायल हो गए।
अदालत ने अपने आदेश में कहा है कि पुलिस के मुताबिक, होटल का निर्माण नक्शा प्राधिकारियों से मंजूर कराये बिना अवैध रूप से चलाया जा रहा था। इससे पहले मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने मामले की विस्तृत जांच के आदेश दिए थे। होटल मालिक राहुल अग्रवाल, रोहित अग्रवाल, पवन अग्रवाल (एक ही परिवार के तीनों) और होटल के महाप्रबंधक सागर श्रीवास्तव के खिलाफ भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 304 और 308के तहत एकमामला दर्ज किया गया है। घटना के एक दिन बाद पुलिस ने राहुल अग्रवाल, रोहित अग्रवाल और सागर श्रीवास्तव को गिरफ्तार कर लिया था। पुलिस सूत्रों ने बताया कि पवन अग्रवाल को जल्द ही गिरफ्तार किए जाने की संभावना है।
