नई दिल्ल। जरा सी लापरवाही कभी-कभी बहुत भरी पड़ जाती है। ठीक ऐसा ही पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटर सुरेश रैना के खिलाफ मुंबई पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज किया है। दरअसल, मुंबई के ड्रेगन फ्लाई नाम के एक पब में कोरोना के नियमों का पालन न करते हुए कई लोग पकड़े गए थे। इनमें सुरेश रैना भी शामिल हैं। रैना पर धारा 188 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है।
सुरेश रैना को मुंबई एयरपोर्ट के पास मुंबई ड्रेगनफ्लाई क्लब से गिरफ्तार किया गया था। हालांकि, उन्हें जमानत मिल चुकी है। गिरफ्तारी की वजह समय सीमा से ज्यादा क्लब को खोलने और कोविड नियमों का पालन नहीं करने के लिए की गई थी। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, सिंगर गुरु रंधावा और बादशाह को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया था, जिन्हें जमानत मिल चुकी है। इस रेड में कुल 34 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया, जिनमें 7 होटल स्टाफ भी शामिल हैं।
रैना चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स की टीम के साथ आईपीएल के लिए यूएई गए थे, लेकिन टीम में कुछ कोरोना पॉजिटिव केस मिलने के बाद उन्होंने टूर्नामेंट से अपना नाम वापस ले लिया था। रैना ने निजी कारणों का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि वह आईपीएल 2020 से अपना नाम वापस ले रहे हैं। इससे पहले महेंद्र सिंह धोनी के संन्यास के कुछ ही मिनटों बाद सुरेश रैना ने भी 33 साल की उम्र में इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट को अलविदा कह दिया था। फिलहाल रैना को लापरवाही मामले में बेशक जमानत मिल गई हो, लेकिन उन्होंने आखिर लापरवाही तो की ही थी।
