जून के डेरिवेटिव अनुबंधों की अवधि समाप्त होने से पहले धातु, बिजली और वित्तीय कंपनियों के शेयरों में लिवाली के समर्थन से बुधवार को बंबई शेयर बाजार का सेंसेक्स 157 अंक मजबूत होकर बंद हुआ था। सेंसेक्स 157.14 अंक यानी 0.40 प्रतिशत की बढ़त के साथ 39,592.08 अंक पर बंद हुआ था तो एनएसई का निफ्टी भी 51.10 अंक यानी 0.43 प्रतिशत की बढ़त के साथ 11,847.55 अंक पर बंद हुआ था। आज सुबह करीब 9:55 पर सेंसेक्स 75 अंकों की तेजी के साथ 39,667.53 पर कारोबार कर रहा था तो निफ्टी 20.50 अंक उछल 11,868.05 पर था।

इस दौरान सेंसेक्स पर इंड्सइंड बैंक, एम&एम, एक्सिसबैंक, टाटा मोटर्स, एनटीपीसी, हिंदुस्तान यूनिलीवर, ओएनजीसी, मारुति, एलटी, टाटा स्टील, एचडीएफसी, हीरोमोटो कॉर्प, बजाज फाइनैंस, एशियन पेंट, एसबीआईएन, आईसीआईसीआई बैंक, कोटक बैंक, इन्फोसिस, बजाज ऑटो, टीसीएस के शेयर हरे निशान में थे तो आईटीसी, एचडीएफसी बैंक, वेदांता लिमिडेट, यस बैंक, एचसीएलटेक, भारती एयरटेल, सन फार्मा, रिलायंस, पावरग्रिड, टेक महिंद्रा के शेयरों में गिरावट थी।
