नई दिल्ली। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पहले ही घोषणा की थी कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर अपना सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट महिलाओं के जिम्मे करेंगे। इसके चलते ट्विटर पर @narendramodi हैंडल से सबसे पहले स्नेहा मोहन दास ने ट्वीट किया। उन्होंने एक विडियो ट्वीट करते हुए बताया कि वह फूड बैंक की संस्थापिका हैं।

स्नेहा ने बताया कि उन्होंने 2015 में चेन्नई में बाढ़ आने से पहले फूड बैंक की स्थापना की थी। इसका मुख्य मकसद भूख से लड़ना और भारत को एक ऐसा देश बनाना है जहां कोई भूखा नहीं रहे। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि उन्हें फूड बैंक खोलने की प्रेरणा कहां से मिली। उन्होंने कहा, ‘दादाजी के जन्मदिन और विशेष मौकों पर उनकी मां बच्चों को घर बुलाकर खाना बांटती थीं। मुझे इसे आगे ले जाने की इच्छा हुई।’

स्नेहा ने विडियो में बताया कि वह फेसबुक पर लोगों से जुड़कर फूड बैंक के लिए काम करती हैं। उन्होंने फूड बैंक- चेन्नई नाम से एक फेसबुक पेज बनाया और लोगों से अपने-अपने राज्यों, शहरों के नाम से फेसबुक पेज बनाने की अपील की। उनकी इस अपील पर भारत में इस तरह के 18 जगहों पर फूड बैंक खुले और एक फूड बैंक दक्षिण अफ्रीका में भी खुला।

फूड बैंक के वॉलंटिअर्स खाने का कच्चा सामान लोगों से दान में लेते हैं और फिर भोजन बनाकर गरीबों के बीच बांटते हैं। जो लोग अपने-अपने घरों में परिवार के खाने की जरूरत से ज्यादा भोजन तैयार करते हैं और ताजा खाना फूड बैंक में जमा करा देते हैं।

इससे पहले प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने ट्वीट कर नारी शक्ति को सलाम किया और अपने सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट्स को दिनभर के लिए उन 7 महिलाओं के हवाले कर दिया, जिन्होंने अपने हौसले और जुनून से लोगों को प्रेरित किया है। पीएम मोदी ने कहा, ‘देश के हर क्षेत्र में असाधारण सफलता हासिल करने वाली महिलाएं। इन्होंने अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों में महान काम किया है। उनके संघर्ष और आकांक्षा से लाखों लोग प्रेरित होते हैं। आइए ऐसी महिलाओं की सफलताओं का जश्न मनाएं और उनसे सीखें।’

प्रधानमंत्री ने लिखा, ‘अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस की शुभकामनाएं। हम नारी शक्ति की भावनाओं और योग्यता को सलाम करते हैं। जैसा कि मैंने कुछ दिन पहले कहा था, मैं साइन ऑफ कर रहा हूं। मेरे सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट्स के जरिए उपलब्धियां हासिल कर चुकीं सात महिलाएं अपनी जीवन यात्रा के बारे में बताएंगी, और आपसे बात करेंगी।’
