बेंगुलुरु। अमेरिकन आईटी कंपनी कॉग्निजेंट आने वाले कुछ महीनों में 7,000 मिड-सीनियर लेवल कर्मचारियों की छंटनी करेगी। इसका मुख्य कारण कॉस्ट कटिंग बताया गया है। इसके अलावा कंपनी कंटेट मॉडरेशन बिजनेस से भी बाहर निकलने के बारे में सोच रही है। तिमाही नतीजे घोषित करने के बाद कंपनी की तरफ से बयान जारी कर कहा गया कि आने वाले कुछ महीनों में पूरे विश्व में कंपनी ने करीब 12 हजार मीडियम और सीनियर लेवल कर्मचारियों को निकालने का फैसला किया है।

बयान में कहा गया है कि वह इन कर्मचारियों में से करीब 5,000 को फिर से ट्रेनिंग देकर स्किल बनाएगी और दोबारा इनकी भर्ती की जाएगी। इससे पहले मई में भी कंपनी ने कॉस्ट कटिंग के नाम पर मीडियम लेवल के अधिकारियों की छंटनी की थी। जुलाई-सितंबर तिमाही में कंपनी के प्रदर्शन में सुधार हुआ है और कुल रेवेन्यू 4।25 अरब डॉलर रहा है। पिछली तिमाही में कंपनी का रेवेन्यू 4।14 अरब डॉलर रहा था।
