नई दिल्ली।आखिरकार साढ़े 7 साल बाद निर्भया को न्याय मिल गया. 20 मार्च को सुबह 5.30 बजे तिहाड़ जेल में चारों दोषियों को फांसी दे दी गई. इस दौरान जेल के अंदर पूरा लॉकडाउन रहा. जेल के बाहर इकट्ठा हुए लोगों ने इसे बड़ी जीत बताया. निर्भया के माता-पिता ने 20 मार्च का दिन निर्भया दिवस के रूप में मनाने की बात कही है. दोपहर एक बजे के आसपास चारों शवों का पोस्टमार्टम खत्म हुआ, जिसके बाद शवों को उनके परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया.

डीजी तिहाड़ जेल के मुताबिक, फांसी से पहले निर्भया के चारों दोषियों में किसी ने कोई आखिरी इच्छा जाहिर नहीं की थी.वहीं दूसरी ओर दोषियों के शव को दीनदयाल उपाध्याय हॉस्पिटल में भेजे जाने के बाद तिहाड़ जेल में लॉकडॉउन खत्म कर दिया गया था. और सभी जेलों के लॉकअप को खोल दिया गया था. इसके बाद जेल के अंदर सुरक्षा का जिम्मा संभाल रही तमिलनाडु पुलिस ने फ्लैग मार्च भी किया.
