काठमांडू। नेपाल के एवरेस्ट क्षेत्र में शनिवार को लुकला हवाईअड्डे पर एक छोटे विमान ने रनवे से उड़ान भरते समय वहां खड़े दो हेलीकॉप्टरों को टक्कर मार दी जिसमें कम से कम तीन लोगों की मौत हो गई। काठमांडू पोस्ट की खबर के अनुसार, यह घटना तब हुई जब विमान उड़ान भरने के लिए तैयारी करते समय रनवे पर फिसल गया और उसने रनवे से करीब 30-50 मीटर दूर लुकला हेलीपैड पर खड़े हेलीकॉप्टरों को टक्कर मार दी।

अखबार ने त्रिभुवन अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाईअड्डे के प्रवक्ता प्रताप बाबू तिवारी के हवाले से कहा कि हेलीपैड पर तैनात सह-पायलट एस धुनगन और सहायक सब इंस्पेक्टर राम बहादुर खड़का की घटना में मौत हो गई। अखबार ने बताया कि हादसे में घायल हुए सहायक सब इंस्पेक्टर रुद्र बहादुर श्रेष्ठ की अस्पताल में इलाज के दौरान मौत हो गई। विमान उड़ा रहे कैप्टन आरबी रोकाया और मनंग एयर के कैप्टन चेत गुरुंग घटना में घायल हो गए। उनका ग्रांड अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है तथा उनकी हालत खतरे से बाहर बताई जा रही है।
