उत्तराखंड। उत्तराखंड के पौड़ी गढ़वाल में एक निजी रिसॉर्ट में रिसेप्शनिस्ट के रूप में काम करने वाली 19 वर्षीय लड़की अंकिता 18 सितंबर से लापता होने के बाद मृत पाई गई थी। इस मामले में रिसॉर्ट के मालिक और प्रबंधक सहित तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। लेकिन घटनाओं ने राजनीतिक मोड़ ले लिया जब कांग्रेस ने आरोप लगाया कि एक आरोपी के भाजपा से संबंध हैं। युवती की पहचान पौड़ी गढ़वाल निवासी अंकिता भंडारी के रूप में हुई है, जो लक्ष्मण झूला क्षेत्र के निजी रिसॉर्ट में रिसेप्शनिस्ट के रूप में कार्यरत थी। 18 सितंबर को उसका पता नहीं चलने के बाद उसके परिवार ने गुमशुदगी की रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई थी। पुलिस ने कहा कि गुमशुदगी की शिकायत के आधार पर तीन दिन बाद 21 सितंबर को प्राथमिकी दर्ज की गई थी। पुलिस ने कहा कि रिजॉर्ट मालिक और अन्य दो आरोपी लड़की के लापता होने के दिन से ही फरार थे।
इससे पहले दिन में पुलिस ने रिजॉर्ट के मालिक पुलकित आर्य, असिस्टेंट मैनेजर अंकित गुप्ता और मैनेजर सौरभ भास्कर समेत तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया था। उत्तराखंड कांग्रेस की प्रवक्ता गरिमा धासोनी ने इंडिया टुडे को बताया कि लड़की का शव गुरुवार 22 सितंबर को मिला था और मामले के एक आरोपी विनोद आर्य का संबंध बीजेपी से है। ऋषिकेश में अंकिता भंडारी हत्याकांड में आरोपियों को लेकर जा रही पुलिस की गाड़ी को महिलाओं ने घेर लिया। जब आरोपियों को पुलिस न्यायालय में पेश करने के लिए कोटद्वार लेकर जा रही थी. इसी दौरान बैराज पुल से आगे कोडीया में सैकड़ों ग्रामीणों ने पुलिस की गाड़ी रोक ली। उत्तराखंड पुलिस ने कहा कि ऋषिकेश में अंकिता भंडारी हत्याकांड के बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने रिसोर्ट के बाहर तोड़फोड़ की है। आरोपी ने कबूल किया है कि उसने विवाद के बाद अंकिता को नहर में धक्का दिया था जिससे वह डूब गई। पुलिस उसके शव की खोज में लगी है।
