मुंबई। देश में 4G को भले ही टेलिकॉम कंपनियां आज़तक बेशक स्मूथ चलाने में असमर्थ रहीं हों, लेकिन अब भारत में बात 5G कि हो रहीं है। भारत में लंबे समय से 5G का इंतजार किया जा रहा है। मंगलवार को रिलायंस जिओ के सीईओ मुकेश अंबानी ने घोषणा की है कि उनकी कंपनी 2021 में भारत में 5G सेवाओं को रोल-आउट करेगी। यह घोषणा कंपनी के सीईओ, मुकेश अंबानी ने इंडिया मोबाइल कांग्रेस के चौथे फेज में दी।
अंबानी ने खुलासा किया कि कंपनी 2021 की दूसरी छमाही में सेवा को लागू करने की योजना बना रही है। इसके अलावा उन्होंने ये भी बताया कि कंपनी द्वारा 5G नेटवर्क का निर्माण स्वदेश में किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा “भारत आज दुनिया के सर्वश्रेष्ठ डिजिटल रूप से जुड़े देशों में से एक है। इस लीड को बनाए रखने के लिए, 5 जी के शुरुआती रोलआउट में तेजी लाने के लिए, और इसे सस्ती और हर जगह उपलब्ध कराने के लिए नीतिगत कदमों की आवश्यकता है। मुकेश अंबानी ने कहा मैं आपको विश्वास दिलाता हूं कि जिओ अग्रणी होगा। 2021 की दूसरी छमाही में भारत में 5G क्रांति आएगी। यह स्वदेशी-विकसित नेटवर्क, हार्डवेयर और प्रौद्योगिकी घटकों द्वारा संचालित होगा।
अंबानी ने यह भी कहा कि भारत में 5G नेटवर्क के प्रवेश से देश को “आत्मनिर्भर” बनने के प्रयासों में मदद मिलेगी और यह देश को चौथी औद्योगिक क्रांति में भी अग्रणी भूमिका निभाने में सक्षम बनाएगा।”जिओ की 5G सेवा, आत्मनिर्भर भारत की आपकी प्रेरक दृष्टि का प्रमाण होगी। उन्होंने कहा मैं अत्यंत विश्वास के साथ कह सकता हूं कि 5G भारत को न केवल चौथी औद्योगिक क्रांति में भाग लेने में सक्षम बनाएगा बल्कि इसका नेतृत्व भी करेगा।”
दिलचस्प बात यह है कि अंबानी की ये टिप्पणियां उनकी प्रतिद्वंदी कंपनी भारती एयरटेल के चेयरमैन सुनील मित्तल के उस बयान के बाद आया है जिसमें दावा किया गया है कि भारत में 5G तकनीक के रोलआउट में दो-तीन साल लगेंगे। मित्तल ने कहा है कि देश को मोबाइल प्रौद्योगिकी की अगले चरण में जाने के लिए अभी अधिक समय की आवश्यकता होगी। एयरटेल के निर्णय निर्माताओं, जिसमें इसके मुख्य कार्यकारी, गोपाल विट्टल शामिल हैं, ने पहले कहा था कि 5G के लिए पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र अविकसित है और यह स्पेक्ट्रम महंगा है। चलिए ये 5G तकनीक भी देख लेते हैं क्या गुल खिलाएगी। अभी तक के हालात तो बेहद ख़राब हैं।
