नयी दिल्ली। केरल, कर्नाटक और महाराष्ट्र में बारिश और बाढ़ का कहर जारी है। पिछले 72 घंटों में तीनों राज्यों में 93 जानें जा चुकी हैं। बाढ़ और बारिश से केरल में इस मॉनसून के दौरान 42 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। केरल के वायनाड और मलप्पुरम में भूस्खलन के चलते 40 लोग अभी भी फंसे हैं जिससे मौत का आंकड़ा और बढ़ने की आशंका है। यहां खराब मौसम के कारण रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन बाधित हो रहा है। रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में सेना और एनडीआरएफ की मदद ली जा रही है। तमिलनाडु में भी बारिश के चलते 5 की मौत हो चुकी है। भारतीय सेना, नेवी और एयरफोर्स के जवान लोगों को बचाने में जुटे हैं। बाढ़ प्रभावित चार राज्यों के 16 जिलों में 123 रेस्क्यू टीमें फंसे हुए लोगों को मदद पहुंचा रही हैं।
केरल में इस मॉनसून बारिश का विकराल रूप पिछले साल अगस्त त्रासदी की दर्दनाक यादें ताजा कर रही है। शुक्रवार को केरल में 27 जबकि 7 लोगों की मौत शनिवार को हो गई। कुल मिलाकर यहां पिछले 72 घंटे में 42 लोगों की जान चली गई। यहां वायनाड और मलप्पुरम में बड़े भूस्खलन के चलते अभी 40 लोग फंसे हुए हैं जिससे मौत का आंकड़ा बढ़ने की आशंका है। रेस्क्यू टीमें यहां पहुंच चुकी है लेकिन खराब मौसम के कारण बचाव अभियान में खलल पैदा हो रही है।

केरल: पिछले 72 घंटों में 42 की मौत, मलबे में फंसे 40 लोग
कर्नाटक के बगलकोट, रायचूर, बेलगाम और कलबुर्गी जिलों में 33 राहत टीमें और 31 इंजिनियर टास्क फोर्स बाढ़ से प्रभावित लोगों को राहत पहुंचाने के काम में जुटी हैं। वहीं केरल में 24 राहत टीमों के साथ 8 इंजिनियर टास्क फोर्स को अलेप्पी, एर्नाकुलम, पथानमथिट्टा, इदुक्की, मलप्पुरम, वायनाड, कन्नूर और कोझिकोड में राहत और बचाव के काम में लगाया गया है।

20 से 40 सेमी की रफ्तार से हो रही बारिश
रेस्क्यू टीमों ने वायनाड से 8 शव बरामद किए हैं जबकि मलप्पुरम के पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में आए भूस्खलन के चलते 10 लोगों की मौत हो गई जबकि 30 लापता हैं। मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन ने बताया कि अभी भी भूस्खलन में कई लोग लापता हैं इसलिए सही आंकड़ा बाद में ही पता चलेगा। केरल में अभी भी 20 से 40 सेमी की रफ्तार से बारिश हो रही है।

7 जिलों में रेड अलर्ट
बारिश के चलते कोच्चि एयरपोर्ट में रविवार दोपहर तीन बजे तक विमानों का संचालन बंद कर दिया गया है। मौसम विभाग ने केरल के सात जिलों – एर्नाकुलम, इडुकी, पलक्कड़, मलप्पुरम, कोझिकोड, वायनाड और कन्नूर में शनिवार को भारी बारिश के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। 13 एनडीआरएफ टीमें और करीब 180 सेना के जवान रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन के लिए केरल पहुंच चुके हैं। अब तक 64 हजार से ज्यादा लोग राहत शिविरों में शिफ्ट किए जा चुके हैं।

कर्नाटक: अब तक 22 की मौत
कर्नाटक में शुक्रवार को बारिश से 10 मौतें दर्ज की गई। राज्य में बारिश और बाढ़ के चलते मौत का आंकड़ा 22 हो गया है। केरल की तरह कोडगु में भी 7 लोग जिंदा दफन हो गए। इनमें से मदिकेरी में 5 और विराजपत में 2 लोगों की मौत हुई। विराजपत के इसी गांव में रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन के दौरान 8 लापता बताए जा रहे हैं।
