अब 5 लाख तक की इनकम पर नहीं लगेगा टैक्स, आम लोगों के खिले चेहरे

नई दिल्ली। अंतरिम बजट में मोदी सरकार ने नौकरी-पेशा वाले मध्यवर्ग के लोगों को भी बड़ी सौगात दी है। सरकार आयकर छूट की सीमा ढाई से लाख रुपये से बढ़ाकर सीधे 5 लाख रुपये कर दिया है। आर्थिक रूप से पिछले सवर्णों को 10 फीसदी आरक्षण के बाद अब आयकर छूट की सीमा में बड़ा इजाफा कर लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 से पहले मोदी सरकार ने आम आदमी को गदगद कर दिया है।

लोकसभा में अंतरिम बजट पेश करते हुए केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने आयकर छूट की सीमा बढ़ा दी है. लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले ये आम आदमी को सरकार की तरफ से बड़ा तोहफा है. सरकार आयकर छूट की सीमा ढाई से लाख रुपये से बढ़ाकर सीधे 5 लाख रुपये कर दिया है.
गौरतलब है कि इससे पहले इनकम टैक्स में आयकर छूट का दायरा ढाई लाख रुपये तक था, जिसे अब बढ़ा दिया गया है. इस ऐलान से पहले टैक्स स्लैब में 2.5 लाख रुपये तक सालाना कमाई पर कोई टैक्स नहीं देना पड़ता था. जबकि 2.5 से 5 लाख रुपये की आय पर 5 फीसद की दर से टैक्स लगता था. 5-10 लाख रुपये की सालाना आय पर 20 फीसदी और 10 लाख रुपये से अधिक की सालाना आय पर 30 फीसदी कर लगता था. हालांकि सरकार आयकर छूट बढ़ाने का संकेत पहले ही दे दिया था. मालूम हो कि इससे पहले प्रणब मुखर्जी ने साल 2012 में आयकर छूट की सीमा को 1.8 लाख रुपये से बढ़ाकर 2 लाख रुपये किया था. उसके बाद 2014 में आयकर छूट की सीमा 2 लाख से बढ़ाकर 2.5 लाख रुपये की गई. इनकम टैक्स लिमिट और सेक्शन 80 से के तहत छूट को 2014 में बढ़ाया गया था, पिछले 5 साल से इसमें बढ़ोतरी नहीं हुई थी. आर्थिक रूप से पिछले सवर्णों को 10 फीसदी आरक्षण के बाद अब आयकर छूट की सीमा में बड़ा इजाफा कर लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 से पहले मोदी सरकार ने आम आदमी को लुभाने के लिए बड़ा दांव चल दिया है. वहीं इस ऐलान से पहले 60 साल से 80 साल के नागरिकों के लिए 3 लाख रुपये तक कोई टैक्स नहीं लगता था. जबकि 3 लाख रुपये से 5 लाख रुपये तक की आय पर 5 फीसदी टैक्स लगता था. 5 से 10 लाख रुपये तक 20 फीसदी टैक्स लगता था. 10 लाख से ऊपर आय पर वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को 30 फीसदी टैक्स देना पड़ता था.
