सॉफ्टवेयर स्पायवेयर मिस्डकॉल से फोन में पहुंच रहा, कंपनी ने यूजर्स को कहा- अपना ऐप तुरंत अपडेट करें

गैजेट डेस्क.कंपनी ने अनुसार- वॉट्सऐप के जरिए फोन में हो सकता है वायरस अटैक। वॉट्सऐप ने जासूसी करने वाले सॉफ्टवेयर स्पायवेयर से बचाव के लिए यूजर्स को ऐप का नया वर्जन (2.19.139) तुरंत अपडेट करने की सलाह दी है। कंपनी के मुताबिक, वॉयस मिस्डकॉल के जरिए स्मार्टफोन में एक सॉफ्टवेयर ऑटोमैटिक इंस्टॉल हो रहा है। इससे फोन में वायरस हमले और उसके डैमेज होने का खतरा है।

वॉट्सऐप ने कहा कि इस बग की जानकारी मई की शुरुआत में मिली थी। इसके लिए एडवांस्ड साइबर एक्ट जिम्मेदार है। इसमें वे सभी हॉलमार्क हैं जो किसी प्राइवेट कंपनी में होते हैं। कंपनी के मुताबिक, इस सॉफ्टवेयर के जरिए फोन को हैक किया जा सकता है। यूजर्स के फोटो, वीडियो, कॉन्टैक्ट, चैट, कॉल डिटेल के साथ बैंक से जुड़ी जानकारी चोरी होने का खतरा भी हो सकता है।स्पाइवेयर एक, सॉफ्टवेयर कैटेगरी से लिया गया शब्द है। इसका इस्तेमाल किसी यूजर का पर्सनल डेटा चुराने या हैक करने में किया जाता है। स्पाइवेयर के कई सॉफ्टवेयर होते हैं, जिनका इस्तेमाल चोरी छिपे यूजर्स के कम्प्यूटर, लैपटॉप और फोन में किया जाता है। डेटा चोरी के साथ वायरस भेजकर डिवाइस को क्रैश भी किया जा सकता है। स्पाइवेयर के चार प्रकार- कीलॉगर्स, पासवर्ड स्टीलर, इन्फोस्टीलर और बैंकिंग ट्रोजन हैं। कंपनी ने बताया वॉट्सऐप में नए इमोजी जोड़े गए है, अपडेट वर्जन में नए इमोजी जोड़ने के साथ 155 इमोजी के डिजाइन में बदलाव किया है। वॉट्सऐप में यूजर की मर्जी के साथ ग्रुप में जोड़ने वाला फीचर भी आ चुका है।
