बहुत छोटी उम्र में व्यंग्य के क्षेत्र में अपनी पैठ बना चुके सौरभ जैन का हाल ही में पहला व्यंग्य संग्रह ‘डेमोक्रेसी स्वाहा’ भावना प्रकाशन, दिल्ली से प्रकाशित हुआ है। 52 व्यंग्य इस संग्रह में प्रकाशित है, जिनमें से अधिकांश विभिन्न दैनिक अखबारों के व्यंग्य का कालमों में प्रकाशित हुए हैं, कुछ अप्रकाशित भी हैं।
जैसा की नाम से ही लगता है कि राजनीति इस संग्रह का केन्द्र बिन्दू है। राजनैतिक विद्रुपताओं पर सौरभ ने बहुत अच्छे से अपनी कलम चलाई है। व्यंग्य कोई नई विधा नहीं है, लेकिन वर्तमान व्यंग्य विधा के दो प्रमुख स्तंभ शरद जोशी और हरिशंकर परसाई माने जाते हैं, और पत्र-पत्रिकाओं तथा अखबारों में जो व्यंग्य कॉलम प्रकाशित हो रहे हैं वह इन्हीं दो व्यंग्य पुरोधाओं की ही देन है। सौरभ के व्यंग्य उनको शरद जोशी की परम्परा में लाकर खड़ा करते है। क्योंकि उनके व्यंग्य लघु और संतुलित है साथ ही सामयिक भी है। लेखन में व्यंग्य के साथ हास्य का पुट भी है और दोनों का संतुलन भी बेहतरीन है।

सौरभ जब लिखते हैं कि “सड़क पर जब किसी गड्ढे का जन्म होता है तो सड़क की बहन और गड्ढे की मौसी बरखा रानी झूम कर उसे पानी से लबालब भर देती है। यह जलकुंड सूक्ष्मजीवों के लिए समुद्र की तरह होता है, गड्ढे मच्छरों की जन्मस्थली होते हैं, एक प्रकार से गड्ढे चिकित्सकों को रोजगार प्रदान करने का साधन भी है।” तो व्यंग्य गुदगुदी करता है, साथ ही उस व्यवस्था पर भी प्रहार करता है जो आम आदमी की पीड़ा है।
और जब वो लिखते हैं कि “कुपोषण को दूर करने के तमाम प्रयास विफल होने पर सरकार के लिए अब आवश्यक है कि पोषण आहार में साबुन का वितरण किया जाना चाहिए क्योंकि मलाई, केसर, हल्दी, चंदन जैसे तत्व नहाने के स्थान पर खाने में अधिक उपयुक्त रहेंगे।” तो भ्रमित करने वाले व्यवस्था और विज्ञापनों को चेलेंज करते है। कि सरकार की आंखों के सामने देश की जनता को मूर्ख बनाया जा रहा है। और सरकारी अमला मौन देख रहा है।
अखबार अब लोकतंत्र के जवाबदार स्तंभ नहीं रहे, ऐसे में सौरभ लिखते हैं कि “अखबारों को उठाकर देखा जाए तो पेपर में ऊपर न्यूज़ होती है कि गर्मी से हाल बेहाल और ठीक नीचे ए सी पर भारी डिस्काउंट का विज्ञापन दिया रहता है। अब यह तो तंबाखू को बेचकर कैंसर के इलाज का मार्गदर्शन देने वाला युग है।”
सौरभ लोकतंत्र की सबसे लच्चर हो चुकी व्यवस्था जिसे डेमोक्रेसी कहा जाता है। उस पर खुल कर लिखते हैं कि “देश के विकास में जेलों का जो योगदान है, उसके मापने का यंत्र अब तक विकसित नहीं हो सका है। आजादी के काल से ही जेल में जाने का चलन प्रचलन में है। तब अंग्रेजों के अन्याय के विरुद्ध तथा जनता के हित के लिए नेता जेलों में जाया करते थे। लेकिन आज के नेता स्वयं का इतना हित कर लेते हैं कि उन्हें जेल जाने की नौबत आन पड़ती है। जेल में रहकर भी वे विकास पुरुष कहलाते हैं कुछ एक तो अंदर रहकर ही चुनाव जीत जाते हैं।”
मोबाइल की लत पर वे चुटकी लेने से नहीं चुकते और लिखते है “सेल्फी नामक संक्रामक रोग इसी तरह फैलता रहा तो कल को लोग भगवान के आगे ऐसी मन्नतें लेकर खड़े मिलेंगे, हे! प्रभु मेरी मुराद पूरी हो तो हो गई तो मैं 3 दिन तक कोई सेल्फी नहीं लूंगा। मतलब अन्न-जल त्याग वाली तपस्या डिजिटलीकरण के दौर में इस रूप में रूपांतरित होना तय है।“
असली डेमोक्रेसी होती है अफसर का तबादला करवाना लेकिन कोई अफरस खुद तबादला करवाना चाहे तो उपाय बताते हुए सौरभ लिखते है “यदि किसी अधिकारी को अपना तबादला करवाना है तो उसे अपना काम ईमानदारी से करना प्रारंभ कर देना चाहिए आप ईमानदारी दिखाइए वे तबादला थामा देंगे।”
‘डेमोक्रेसी स्वाहा’ के 52 व्यंग्यों में कोई भी व्यंग्य कथ्य और तथ्य के मामले में कमजोर नहीं लगता, हर व्यंग्य कुछ न कुछ कहता है। संग्रह के सभी व्यंग्य मध्यम आकार के है जो पाठकों को बोरियत महसूस नहीं होने देते है। और अपनी बात भी पूरी तरह से कह रहे हैं। 25 बसंत के पहले किसी मंझे हुए लेखक जैसा व्यंग्य संग्रह एक बड़े प्रकाशन से आना इस बात की पुष्टि करता है कि सौरभ में व्यंग्य के क्षेत्र में अपार संभावना दिखाई देती है। इस कृति के लिए सौरभ जैन बधाई के पात्र है। अशेष शुभकामनाएं…।
