Supported by Kishor Exports, the initiative provides free health and dental hygiene kits, eye examinations and prescription spectacles to women in need.

Agra: Kishor Shakti Foundation has launched a women’s health and social welfare campaign at Kishor Exports, EPIP, Shastripuram, Agra. Introduced on Friday in collaboration with Kishor Exports, the initiative aims to benefit approximately 3,500 underprivileged women workers, supporting their health, well-being and self-reliance.

Free Health Kits, Eye Examinations and Spectacles

During the programme, women received free health and medicine kits, along with dental hygiene kits. Free eye examinations were also conducted, and women requiring vision correction were provided with prescription spectacles.

Held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and ahead of the International Day of Care and Support on 29 October, the programme highlighted the importance of early detection, regular health check-ups and appropriate medical advice.

Supporting Women’s Empowerment and Self-Reliance

Speaking on the occasion, Snehlata Agarwal of Kishor Shakti Foundation said the Foundation continues to work towards women’s employment, empowerment and social welfare with support from garment and apparel exporter Kishor Exports.

She said the Foundation’s commitment extends beyond the workplace, focusing on improving the health, dignity, self-reliance and quality of life of economically disadvantaged women.

“Healthy and empowered women are the foundation of strong families and a prosperous society,” she said.

Sakshi Agarwal and Kopal Agarwal of Kishor Exports welcomed the guests. International guests Nadine, Greg, Hakan, Sheena and Sandeep were among those present.
