नई दिल्ली लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए गैर मान्यता प्राप्त दल और निर्दलियों के लिए इस बार चुनाव आयोग ने 198 प्रतीक चिह्न आवंटित किए हैं। इनमें किसी को चुनाव प्रचार के लिए तुरही दी जाएगी तो किसी के हाथ लूडो लगेगा। यही नहीं सूची में कटहल और चूड़ियों जैसे भी कई आकर्षक प्रतीक चिह्न शामिल हैं। नामांकन की प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद 22 अप्रैल को प्रतीक चिह्न का आवंटन किया जाएगा।

इस बार लोकसभा चुनाव में सूची से हल जोतता किसान को हटकार 37 नए मुक्त प्रतीक चिह्न जारी किए गए हैं। अब इनकी संख्या 198 हो गई है। 37 नए मुक्त प्रतीकों में गन्ना किसान, सेब, अदरक, कटहल, सूप, हैलिकॉप्टर, तुरही बजाता आदमी, ब्रेड टोस्टर, सीसीटीवी कैमरा, कंप्यूटर, कंप्यूटर माउस, दरवाजे का हैंडल, कान की बालियां, फुटबॉल, लेडी पर्स, हाथ गाड़ी, रेत घड़ी, केतली, फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी, किचन सिंक, लैपटॉप, लूडो, पेन ड्राइव, टीवी रिमोट, रोबोट, रबड़ की मुहर, पानी का जहाज, सितार, शटर, सोफा, स्पैनर, स्विच बोर्ड, भाला फेंक, चिमटा, ट्यूब लाइट और पानी का टैंक शामिल है।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि मान्यता प्राप्त राष्ट्रीय एवं राज्यीय राजनैतिक दलों को उनके लिए आरक्षित प्रतीक आवंटित किए जाते हैं। रजिस्टर्ड और गैर मान्यता प्राप्त राजनैतिक दलों और निर्दलीय अभ्यर्थियों को आवंटित करने के लिए आयोग मुक्त प्रतीकों की सूची जारी करता है। पिछले विधानसभा निर्वाचन 2017 में आयोग ने 162 प्रतीकों की सूची जारी की थी।
